Kobos are amazing I agree📚🥰 You should try the kobo sage. The screen is magnificent, I prefer it over the libra 2 when I am at home. Just the battery is average (8hours around), you have to turn it off completely each time. And it's a bit heavier. But it's much more faster and confortable. 🎀

Courtney, do you like the Colour Kobo e-reader? I am kind of skeptical.

I have tried the kobo color and I have the kindle color soft. And the kindle is hands down above and beyond the kobo….. I love my color soft.

Love the e reader question. Idk which I’d choose 😱 (I think the kobo Clara BW for me ahhh 🙈 it’s so hard. I make good use out of each of my eink devices) I think id like to try one of the larger eink devices in the future, leaning for Kobo Elipsa or one of the Android based devices (I have a smaller bigme)

I love the nook hardware all day everyday. But dang the software is soooo glitchy. I used to have the original nook and it was amazing. I also want to support barnes and noble. However my nook library is big and with no real way to transfer them i do feel stuck in the nook family. (though ive been very much into reading physical books recently)

I turned it mine into fanfic e-reader and tweaked the visual a bit to help my eyes by activating greyscale, turn the brightness to lowest setting and using eye comfort shield.

I was in the bookstore when "when the moon hatched" got announced as our read for patreon!! I didn't pick up a copy day of since I was just on a quick break at work hahaha and the shop only had copies in hardback (...though they were signed lol). Wish I loved hardback! I can never read them or lug them around with me. Fingers crossed they got in a shipment of paperback when I go back in a few days lol

We haven’t seen this level of excitement since Harry Potter and I love it so much! As a dude, I fully admit that I am so pumped for this book and I don’t care! As a totally blind dude I am very conflicted! I have four library companies that provide audiobooks to me counting my public library. It was released literally on release day in one of them, but that one does e-books only with a few sporadic Human narrated audio titles. The main one that does audiobooks is part of the US Library of Congress and it will take them a couple of months to format the book for their mobile app and for their specialized digital cartridges that patrons get in the mail and then they will release it. So I could listen to it right now, but it would be with a robot voice. I wish I could find somebody to read it to me.

16:29 the Target edition of Onyx Storm was a just cash grab bc the artwork is literally STOCK IMAGES from google that has nothing to do with The Empyrean Series. I know for a fact that one of the images was from Dungeons and Dragons lol so for those who didn’t get one DO NOT FEEL BAD!!! And I sure hope NO ONE PAYS to get one from another seller…

That's interesting how Kobo released a copy early digitally and I wonder what time zone it was basing it off. I went to a release party at my local B&N which I had fun at. I love being able to live in an area where I don't have to travel far to a bookstore and that bookstores have been holding Midnight Release parties the last few years. I'm excited to see what next will be the big release and hyped up for books to go to more release parties. I hope some day our local Indie bookstore is able to hold a release party! I live about an hour and a half from other Indie bookstores. I wanted to go to a release event up in the Twin Cities but the ticket prices were not in my budget and wasn't sure if the roads would be okay driving there and back. It looks like it was a lot of fun to attend your local bookstore's release party and how nice of them to include an audiobook download! I thought about trying to get a Target exclusive edition but after the crazy stories I heard, I'm glad I didn't try to go in person.

Great video! Love them! I saw the last copy at my local Walmart I wanted to get it but I had other things I was obligated to buy but I did buy the audiobook from libro! Did you order all of those books from one person on pango? ❤

Wow…that’s dedication. I set up a smart tag in Libby to notify me when the ebook and audiobook were available at my library. When I got the notification for the audiobook, it was available to borrow, so I lucked out. I have to finish Iron Flame first. I have to admit, my reading of these books has been mostly FOMO-driven. The story telling is good, but at times I find the characters very angsty and immature-that’s just my opinion. My favorite character is probably the dragon Tairn.
