Killer Whales Spotted On The Oregon Coast
Killer Whales spotted in Depoe Bay heading north toward Cape Foul Weather on the central Oregon coast. Spotting killer whales on the Oregon coast is rare so we were really excited to see this pod! Sorry the video is a little shaky as the killer whales appear and disappear very quickly.

Oregon Coast Fat Tire Bikes
Переглядів 808 років тому
The Oregon coast has miles of beautiful beaches to explore, and there's no better way to explore them than on a fat tire bicycle. Check with local fat tire bike rental shops about safest times to go and days to avoid. You should avoid days with and heavy seas and large swells are forecast. We recommend going at lower tide and riding on the hard packed sand.

Super cool. Do you have any resource to look up when crazy waves and storms will be coming up?

Yeah. You have to watch the outer buoy reports and readings and also the news will sometimes report when heavy swells are coming. Try the NOAA Buoy website. Here's one buoy link www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=46050

I think it hit the entire Oregon and Washington coast. I'm not sure how severe it was in Gold Beach though.
