How to install ONEGRIPPER Seat Covers (NEW 2024)
How to install ONEGRIPPER Seat Covers on all brands and models on today's market. 100% waterproof, very durable and super grippy.
We provide three grip levels for dirtbikes and one for touring/adventure bikes:
Level 0,5 - HEX (Big sheet with a grippy but soft pattern for long trips on touring and adventure bikes.)
Level 1 - LIGHT (Less grip for riders who prefer that. Way more grip then your stock cover.)
Level 2 - ORIGINAL V2 (Version two of the original. Medium extreme grip and our by far most sold seat cover.)
Level 3 - RIBBED (Extreme grip in all terrains and perfect for muddy conditions. Used by most of our top athletes.)
The way to do it is similar on all dirtbike seats:
1. Start from back, center the logo and staple. (NEW: All covers has a center line.)
2. Stretch it easily up to the front and staple.
3. Stretch it on the side and start to staple from the center and back. Always stretch it before staple. In the corners you stretch and overlap before you staple.
4. Then staple from the center to the front.
5. Cut the overflowed cover like 2-3mm from the staples around.
6. Your done and ready to race!

Hey does it matter which type of staplegun you use and the size of the staples :)?
Depends on your seat. Most seats you need the nose to aim staples correct but you have many different staple guns with noses. For the size of nails we prefer 8mm. No longer then that is needed. Ride safe!

@@onegripper two things: do I take out the old wrapping? The 2024 KTMs now have this plastic thing under the mounting bolt... not sure how to handle that.
How do you do the hole for the keylock?
We use a round small screwdriver. Smaller then the bolt so the material seals around bolt as much as possible.

what kind of staple to use ? how long etc...
We use a Rapid R30E with 6mm on the sides and 8mm in corners. Important to aim towards the middle of the seat so they do not poke out on the sides. Ride safe! //Jimmie
