Nice. Even pilots with training have zero experience with any new aircraft they have never flown. You can learn the basics but the only way to learn an ultralight is to get in and fly it. An ultralight is going to fly different from a Cessna 150. No one should jump in without at least learning the basics. I have watched lots of video instruction and especially crash videos to find out why it happened so that I don't make a similar mistake.
Y’all should go to Kill Devil Hills in the Outer Banks of NC!! The first flight was flown there by brothers Orville & Wilbur Wright. And there’s all kinds of exciting things to do there.
Awesome! Just awesome.. Its pitiful that we now live in a generation of jealous softies who, just because they did much worse than this with a CFI are jealous that someone else is enjoying more with much less cost. Its great! No one can take that feeling from you. I came to the flying world years ago and heard how pilots have so much respect for each other. Im not sure thats actually true. In no other sport have I ever heard so much whining, downgrading and trash talk about other pilots as some of the flying community. Yes, Im talking about you, you who went to college, paid by your parents to learn to fly. Not because you thought its fun, but because it was the cool thing for you to do. Now you fly around in your new little sport plane, and who ever got to where you are in a much lesser means is completely worthless. Unfortunately Its you who are wrong.
Plane was not week at all now my fear of over revenge the engine and blowing it up was strong I had nothing to worry about on the engine but thought I did
the take off had me laughing my ass off! I have no idea how you didn't stall when you turned so soon after takeoff. But, for not having any training pretty dam good.
I think the person with the camera should have given him room instead of standing and waiting to be run over and possibly chopped up with a propeller, crazy taking a risk like that.
You have a wife [? Girl friend?] and a great dog - how stupid to try to kill yourself.
Unmatched stupidity. He is probably dead by now. Darwin, baby!
he is way to hot on that approach lucky he didnt screw that up bad
5000 ft runway
Wilbur & Orville did it. He’s experiencing their experience. They had a dream & didn’t let anyone destroy it. Kudos my friend!
This video is now 6 years old my question is: "How well did this story end?"
Gr8 ride. Maybe next flight have more obstacles to make it more interesting!
Try cave diving. I'm sure you'll get a thrill!
Bro ur crazy bit I like it, looks like a dream
Dog was justified in his displeasure with it all!
Great entertainment. Love how there’s no worries about anything, like wind turbines, birds, dogs, choppy airstrip, training. Just go- awesome!
Very brave, especially with all those windmills 😳
That was hard to watch. Glad you lived though!

What engine is that? It looks like the mz201 I have
That poor engine
Great job, no training, dog that won’t listen to commands, flying through wind generators that produce dangerous vortices, what next?

Been teaching taildraggers for 40 years and don't recall anyone being able to land that well first off. That thing must fly itself.
Those HiMax's must have the most benign handling for a taildragger, considering your almost ground loop takeoffs.
There is such a thing as 'accidental survival', and probably a lot more background than we know.
Even the dog could see that was an atrocious takeoff :)
The wright brothers had no flight training either
And a taildragger at that..smh glad you lived

dog, that big bird stole him
i also taught myself, so anyone that doesnt like that, go home jealous
Really hot no wind and very under powered?!
This is the way it should be !
WHAT A FOOL
I hope you know how to fly any airplanes..😳
Cameraman de merde !!! a waste of time
Got lucky
The Dog was upset more brains than the others.
Would you consider letting this guy come buy it off you?
If I still had it I would not
Do you still have this plane??
I wish but sadly I sold it still regret getting rid of it
@@kennethsmith1233 But you are still alive, which was quite likely only a temporary thing if you kept at it. You can only be so lucky for so long...
@@kennethsmith1233 had you flown anything including RC prior to this ?
Ģreat job...all the wind generators towers made it a real challenge!
There about a mile off
No Training ....... I believe you.
I predict an early demise.
Only time will tell
He forgot right rudder on takeoff, a little sketchy. Ha
It was way sketchy lol but it requires left rudder the motor turns the other way on this one
Yea head right at that wind turbine
Great flight , one thing i like about the high max is the view it allows you for the crash site 🙂
I was screaming at my screen, "Forward Stick!" to lift the tail so you could rotate.
Looks weak low and slow kills put. Dog up. Take out life insurance plan get some training read stick and rudder good luck.

@@kennethsmith1233 what size motor how many h p plane look nice good look
Notice this new trend - operating something and claiming "No Training "

Reminds me of those guys who threw themselves from the Eiffel Tower with a set of cardboard wings back in the day

Is there an email I can contact you, I have a question for you mr smith
maybe a landing was aborted because the dog was running across the landing strip ? lol great job flying
