This is my point of view and I think some improvement is recommended for the people doing the job for their own safety. I should share my opinion because safety is the most important aspect that should be considered while doing the job and same was not seen in the video;A) Let's take a look at the scenario, the wall was drilled, then marked with the saw metre and then hammered with a hammer of certain pounds.1) First thing is to consider whether the place being drilled was free from any electrical circuit or water connection. It may be the possibility that while drilling the hole, it is being directed into an electric socket. 2) The second thing is the type of saw used to cut the wall. I consider that the saw being used is not appropriate for the job and what happen if the guy just lost control of the equipment. Mis-handling, fatigue and stress under such type of jobs arise, however, we can minimize it by using the right tool. Some type of fixed saw should be considered and the person will just need to apply some pressure on the wall. Many types useful equipment are available on the internet. 3) A force was used to demolish the structure. What about the type of structure being demolished. First, it must be ensured that the wall being demolished is not a load bearing structure. After the wall was demolished, one of the guys just entered directly into the hole without ensuring his own security. what happens if the whole of the wall collapsed on the person. I think that the wall should be demolished on one side first ( let say 0.5 m out of 1 m). Put a jack to ensure the wall from any collapse and then demolish the other half of the structure. we should not ignore the fact that using the hammering technique on a building over 50 years is quite dangerous. 4) As regard to the place where the collapse of scaffolding is concerned, I think that we should rely on modern equipment which will be more appropriate. I hope that an attention will be brought to my comments while doing such type of job again. Thank You.
