The characterization of Sylvia ruined Intermezzo for me. As someone with chronic pain I didn’t appreciate the way Rooney wrote her character. It made me feel like she was enforcing the stereotype that there is something missing in a relationship with someone with chronic illness or pain. I love Rooney otherwise, it may just be a me problem.

I ended up buying all of Sanderson's books before reading any of them😅, but I think I will start with Mistborn (:

Also a couple of the stories in Arcanum Unbounded have Easter eggs in RoW and the Sunlit Man, so I do recommend finishing it before those books. Secret History can be read after Bands of Mourning for extra surprise in that story. But overall pick the order that works for you. I did all of Mistborn up to Lost Metal then Stormlight and then the standalone stories. I definitely missed things, but I’ve also reread everything now, so it all works out.

Also justice for White Sands! (Or just wait for the prose version to come out).

I love the enthusiasm. You sound like me trying to get my friends to read Jim Butcher. 😂 (so hard when a series gets above 3 books.... 😢). I finally dove in with Sanderson. Great books so far, i love the characters, and how he sprinkles in all these themes, and just leaves us to think on them. The literature nerd in me loves it, i could probably write essays on this stuff. 😅 But it's also fun and entertaining enough that i can still just chill and read it even when my brain is too tired to go study mode.

Thank you so much for this! Bought your tracker as someone who is using notion for the first time ever this year. Question, do you upload your whole library into the 'my library' section? I've previously listed all of my books in a spreadsheet, not sure if this is how you intended this to be used? If you do use it this way, is it easy to add new books as you get them and move it to the correct place in the list (I order mine alphabetically) sorry for all the questions, and thanks again :)

if i just want to add a new book bought to my tbr page can i just add it under the "my tbr" page alone or does it also have to go under the 2025 my library tab. i hope not cause i want the 2025 to only be the books i actually read and then have a separate list of my tbr books! i hope this question makes sense
