The parapet is the mini wall at the top of a main wall or tower. The ruffled part specifically is crenellations (the teeth are called merlons, the gaps are crenels).

On music: Vinnie: you're thinking of Baroque A-415 tuning, which is about half a step lower than A-440 (US) or A-442 to 444 (Europe) tuning, and "old pianos" would be harpsichords (you could tune a piano to 415, but I don't know of it ever being done). Cody: you are probably thinking of Mongolian music, and on that note The Hu is a Mongolian folk metal band that is magnificent. I'm all for this conceptual music theory stuff, as you guys know! If you want some atypical music in your game, talk to Zane, he might have some stuff that fits.

Side note on the Holy Roman Empire: it wasn't a "natural descendant" of the actual Roman empire(s), it was just a group of nation-states that wanted to sound powerful like the empires that fell centuries before.

Cody, your "middle of the road" animals already have a classification: they're called mesotherms and include large fish (tuna, great white sharks), small mammals (naked mole rats, echidnas), sea turtles, and possibly dinosaurs.
