Nop, all hand held.
@hcmgary that's would be very stressful if your hand was tired... but it's worth recording on hand-held, safer.

Bags were self checked, there's always staff to assist you. Customer Service was good as always. Seat width is the most generous I've experienced in Economy, leg room could be considered premium Economy on other carriers. I would give Japan Airlines a 9/10, up there with Singapore Airlines as my favorite carrier to fly on.

It was self checkin for baggage, not mucb assistance from ground staff. Service onboard was exceptional, Singapore Airlines have the best service of all the airlines I've flown. Staff a professional, friendly and always have a smile on their face. Just small touches like greeting you, showing you to your seat and a hot towel upon boarding. Seat comfort was also good for a short haul flight, with decent leg room.

Due to VN's restructuring, VN 592/593 are the only flights in/out of Hong Kong by Vietnam Airlines as they no longer operate the VN 594//595 (SGN-HKG-SGN) due to the saturation of seat supply for the latter's route market.
It's a shame, I've flown Vietjet to SGN before, would love to fly on Vietnam Airlines if they restart that route.
