I'm Liz and I teach Line Dance for Beginners, Improvers & Intermediates in Dalkeith, Midlothian Gilmerton, Edinburgh, Prestonpans, East Lothian & Newtongrange, Midlothian.
Modern Line Dancing has evolved over the years and it's not all about cowboy hats and boots! Although we still do dances to some fabulous country tracks we also have dances to all different music genres.
We wear comfortable clothes and comfortable shoes to classes. You can also wear cowboy boots if you prefer. Anything goes really 🤠
These videos are some of the dances we do at our classes.
Some of the trickier dances need a little bit of practice so my line dancers asked me to record some video demonstrations and how I teach the dance in class so they can put it up on their TV and have a go at it at home.
Line dancing is great exercise for your body and your brain hope you enjoy the videos and dance along at home.

Have loved Elton John since his beginnings in the London pubs. He doesn't know of course but he helped save my life. I had open heart surgery with problems my surgeons couldn't have known about until they got in there. I ended up in ICU in a coma for weeks and was steadily dropping. That is until the staff asked my husband who my favorite singer was. They played tapes of Elton John and told me later that by the end of the first song they saw my stats move very slightly but it was a start. The surgeon told them if anything works keep doing it. As funny as it seems now I came round to "The Bitch Is Back". I owe everything to the medical staff absolutely incredibly wonderful. But I have Elton to thank for breaking through the fog and dragging me out of that coma.
