As the reconciliation was dependent on Christ’s doing His part, He calls on the Church to do her part in the accomplishment of the work. (2 Corinthians 5:18)

God Himself must be the one object of our hope and trust in our works, our needs, and our desires. Our hearts must rest on God and His Word to restore, support and strengthen us. (1 Peter 5:10)

Human beings do not have personalities, psychological states, egos, self-concepts, etc. Those are pagan "air castles" with no foundation in reality. Communion is a pheromone dispersal protocol, a regular oral vaccination with the pheromone from the priest's kiss. It has civilized Christendom. Nice sermon!

Jonathan Edwards expressed it this way: It appears reasonable to suppose, that it was God’s last end, that there might be a glorious and abundant emanation of his infinite fullness of good ad extra, or without himself; and that the disposition to communicate himself, or diffuse his own fullness, was what moved him to create the world.

Scripture, as a whole, teaches that God brought the universe and everything in it into existence to magnify His own glory. The creation of all these things serves as a testament to His glory, love, grace, mercy, wisdom, power, and goodness (see Psalm 8:1; 19:1; 50:6; 89:5, among other verses).

God says nothing to me. I am a lost cause as is the situations in my life. My meaning my love my heart and soul never meant anything and god left me here to experience suffering. I need to rip out the feeling I get when I see people suffering. It hurts me, I need to accept that’s god will to hurt people.. I need to except that my efforts are meaningless and have brought me nothing good to build upon for a life that filled with love and truth and loyalty and family.. I see that I am hated by Jesus and god for being me.. I don’t harm anyone but I am a failure as a father son and brother, I’m a shit boyfriend and friend and employee. What I’ve encountered was meant to hurt me and it did..now what..suicide.. prayer doesn’t do anything but torment my mind more. So now 😅

This is a wonderful presentation of the truths of our identity in Jesus Christ.

So richly blessed by your ministry YET AGAIN! What a treat to have David’s recommendations to savor! The reference to Lewis’ “Culture of the Ugly” is sadly ubiquitous today. I resonated deeply with this conversation today because of my experience of BEAUTY as a 6th grade cellist when every choir, band and string ensemble in my school district assembled to perform at the High School gym. The finale proved a kairos moment when we played and sang, “Let There Be Peace on Earth,” lifting up the TRUTH that, “With God as our Father, Brothers all are we…” Thanks again, Dr. Boa! Only eternity will show the full impact your uniquely multifaceted and coherent expression of the winsome Beauty, Goodness and Truth of our Lord is having for His kingdom! The 'Star of Bethlehem' was not an astronomical or cosmological event. Joseph (Jesus' father) formed an alliance with Theudas, the head of the Therapeutes. The 2 in warrior mode gave themselves titles taken from an OT verse. Joseph was the 'Star' (of David). Theudas was the 'Scepter. The West Manasseh Magi were a priestly caste of Samaritan philosophers founded in 44BC by Menahem and later led by Simon Zelotes. The Magians were Joseph's political associates. When they 'followed the star', they were agreeing with Joseph that a new Davidic king (Jesus) had been born. Because they fecognized him as king, they were accepting him as legitimate.
