But Renegade Platinum IS a good version of the remakes... Jokes aside, I think the only thing I'd really want to change is playing only with the original Pokemon of the region, cuz thats just my preference, overall Renegade Platinum is mostly quality of life/difficulty changes

I disagree. I doubt they can co-exist, and that the 'hype' for Cobblemon is mainly for Visuals, something you can LITERALLY make a Resource Pack for with Pixelmon, changing their models to blocky. People do it already to give them unique skins to sell for irl money in most Pixelmon servers. And that some of the 'Pokemon UA-camrs", seem to be praising and promote Cobblemon instead of Pixelmon, acting literally as if Pixelmon doesn't exist, and acting like Cobblemon is the first and ONLY pokemon in minecraft mod. PM7 and MandJTV for example. Without these big pokemon youtubers promoting cobblemon and acting like Pixelmon doesn't exist, and the blocky visuals which the cobblemon modelers would EASILY be able to mod into Pixelmon, Cobblemon would be dead in the water. People gripe about the visuals of Pixelmon, but Pixelmon is NOT "Minecraft with Pokemon". It's "Pokemon inside Minecraft." There is a MASSIVE different. It has all the features, content, pokemon, abilities, Systems, and so on that a REAL Pokemon Game would have, just not the story/map and instead having ALL 1000+ pokemon to find and access, and in the blocky world of Minecraft, so you can build and create your own homes, structures, and adventure yourself. Cobblemon, FEELS like Minecraft, normal, every day, survival minecraft. Just on Peaceful mode, and a VERY SMALL limited number of pokemon existing.... And that's it. It doesn't have most features, system, or content of the games. And it most likely never will. As for being 'Mod Compatible with other mods', what kind of other mods would you even USE with Pokemon, that isn't already Compatiable with Pixelmon? AND would even INTERACT with the Pokemon?

@@JirodyneThe issue is that pixelmon is stuck on 1.16.5 and has many issues with stuff like, say, pokeballs just disappearing, weird camera angle’s in battle, etc.. I think neither are superior compared to the other, however pixelmon has kinks that cobblemon has yet to encounter, and therefore is superior in that regard, pixelmon is superior in that it has every single aspect of Pokemon in the game so far, once cobblemon catches up, I think it might be hard to defend pixelmon at that point.

Pixelmon literally adds in new mechanics and pokemon like the week after the game comes out. Secondly, that is NOT what Cobblemon will be, from my understanding. A different Philosophy. Where as Pixelmon is Pokemon in Minecraft, Cobblemon is meant to be Minecraft, with Pokemon in it. Cobblemon, from my understanding, won't be adding most of the features in Pokemon, wanting to keep minecraft, still minecraft, just with pokemon in it.

@@Jirodyne My point is that most people like the idea of “Minecraft with Pokemon in it” rather than “Pokemon but in Minecraft”. If people want pokemon, they can play many of the main series games. The point of Pokemon being in Minecraft is that it can riff on both Minecraft and Pokemon’s qualities, pixelmon fails in that department. Also, you not encountering a disappearing pokeball is either because 1. You haven’t been playing the mod enough to notice, or 2. You are terminally oblivious because it literally happens all the time.

For more serious players they think it’s cheating. However it’s a children’s game with animated animals that fight if it’s gonna make my experience easier I’ll turn it on lmao cry abt it

Because it happens far too often. I finished the E4 just by my Pokemon having too high of affection. It happened at least 10x during a single battle.
