Its funny how regular cheese (not even luxury cheese) is far more expensive than chicken meat now...when in the past it used to be the other way round...cheese was used as a cheap substitute for meat at the time (see : britain's ploughman's lunch).

@@CheeseHeavenTV Its not just inflation, cheese in some countries is now considered a luxury product, especially real, non-processed cheese. Real cheese in Singapore starts at about $40/kg, for reference, boneless chicken is $10/kg or less. Sliced, processed cheese is usually $20/kg.

I'd recommend a medium-bodied white wine like a Swiss Chasselas or a French Chardonnay. If you prefer red wine, a lighter red like Pinot Noir can also pair wonderfully.

This video is nothing but elitist junk. It didn't say absolutely anything about how it enriches taste apart from cheese is best consumed at room temperature, which has nothing to do with cutting cheese. "Cutting cheese properly" - again, elitism and nothing more. Who decides what "proper" means for me? You? The French, the Swiss, the Italians? No! My mouth decides what's "proper".
I respect your opinion. This video has nothing to do with elite. There a certain ways to cut different cheeses. Some with wires, some with knives and some other with different utils. Every country has long cultures and traditions and they should be respected. Keep it cheesy and relax! 🧀🍀
