Pork belly in half the time
During football weekend I want to watch the game and not have to spend hours cooking. The dilemma is I love pork belly burn ends, so I devised a method to make these in less than an hour rather than four hours so I can enjoy the game with friends and family and still have my favorite snack.

I just grilled two tenderloins on my BGE following your brine and grill directions. Perfecto! Delish! Thx.
Love your videos Tina!
Thank you so much!
You’re awesome Tina. Huge fan!!
Thank you so much for your nice comment, I hope you subscribed and you can look me up on Instagram and TikTok
@ yes ma’am. Will do!
Marinated, yes?
No, I use the dry brine on it
Mashallah
Where's mine?
Right though😂😂🤤🤤
I ate it!
@Tinacannoncooks nooooooo

Huge help.
Wish I had seen this first. Followed some other trimming videos (I haven't really trimmed a pork butt at all in the past). Those vids were way too aggressive (at least for me) and I'm not trying to do a competition anyway lol! Ended up basically butchering the shoulder and it had almost flopped into two big pieces. Ended up just removing the shoulder bone part, freezing for later, and am going to cook the rest. Went from about 10 lbs to I'm guessing <5. Good news is, I don't have to wake up so early and I think it'll come out really good, but kinda wish I hadn't wasted so much meat (meat that I could have eaten this week for leftovers--it's in the freezer!).
Hope it turns out good for you
@@Tinacannoncooks Delicious!!! Just didn't have as much leftovers as I wanted :)
I love crispy bacon 🥓
Me too!
Nice stuff
One time I ate a whole pound of bacon and I may or may not have thrown up a couple of times
Oops
Try patting the bacon grease off early for an even crispier piece of bacon and reduced calories. Bacon is still not an all the time food if you remove the extra grease though, still got plenty of sodium and if cured, all the issues that come with that too.
It’s one of those things that I don’t care. I love it so much.
IT MOST DEFINITELY LOOKS NICE AND TENDER AND DELIOUS YUMYUMYUM 😍😍😍
I'm not competing, but have some chicken legs I wanted to cook for dinner. I usually get thighs because I hate the tendons on chicken legs, so thank you so much for this video on how to remove them!!
I’m glad I could help
Great video Tina, love it 🙌 🔥 😍
Thank you!! 😊
Sounds great!
Thank you
Great video!

Honey. Your lipstick is on your teeth!

Thanks Tina
There’s a lot of variations to this. This is the one that I’ve used for 40 years.

Just sayin thanks for the info!
Great job
When my dad used to shrimp, we headed a lot of them when i was young. if you pinch the head just right, you can pull that vein right off with the head. :)
Years ago my aunt cooked a huge seafood dinner for the family. I was chewing a shrimp when I got this sandy texture in my mouth 😳 Did, did she not clean the shrimp?! I pulled the breading off & there it was, a plump poo vein staring back at me 🤢 😭
I hate it when that happens
I do know how to clean shrimp but you made me curious😂❤
You are literally the first person I see in the social media, that cleans shrimp the same my family did it back in the Caribbean... Thank you!
So many people buy gadgets to think it makes it easier. I find that it tears the shrimp up. So keeping it simple and using a sharp pairing, knife works for me thank you so much for your comment and I hope that you subscribed
Devin in the shrimp is removing the poop.😅
Which is why you don't want to eat what's in it
Thank you
That Apple does not look done
It’s for decoration it’s not supposed to be done
Yup but even so called "de-veined" shrimp will still have to be cleaned because the underside also has a line of black. I can't stand that so i hold them open with one hand and run my knife along the belly the same way. using the edge to scrape it out under running water. It takes some practice to hold the body flat with one hand using fingers and thumb, but when you got it, it goes easy. the bigger prawns are easier, but smaller ones you can make a cross cut to flatten it a bit. just don't cut all the way through. Also the pre-cooked shrimp you don't see the underbelly black vein because the blanching bleaches it. Its still there.
I can't stand that line of black on the back side! I always take it out too. Takes forever, but I don't want it in there!
Thank you for the video, very helpful. People in the comments really going after this womans accent? Who hurt you all?
I heard 'srimp' the first few times you said it. Then you said 'shrimp' so we good. :)
🤨
People hear a accent from where they are from or even a speech Impediment let's be understanding about it for anyone come on
Scrimp
I’m glad “your good”
I’m southern, it’s how we speak
What are srimp?
😂
Weird to mess with someone over their accent. She said shrimp.. maybe clean your ears?
@@AvalonDreamz listen to the first few times she says it. She says srimp.
@@mysticpharaoh2982 It's freaking weird to go after someones accent. She said shrimp.. her accent makes it sound like srimp. Cringe of you to make a comment about her accent. You knew what she was saying but thought you would comment on it anyway... gross.
@@AvalonDreamz cringe? What are you, 12 years old?
Fail from the get go. Curl the shrimp then use the outside side (left side) of your right forefinger as a rest and grab all the legs with your right thumb and squeeze and pull. All of the legs come off and since the back is no longer attached to the legs it will fall off.
You do know I’m a chef right?
Oo thanks for this video queen
Thanks for watching. I hope you subscribe
It definitely sounds like you said SHrimp to me...people hear what they wanna. Good tip, it's amazing the number of people who don't realize what's in that vein. 👍🏾 💯💥
Exactly!!
My least favorite thing to do but I eat shrimp fried heads and all!
Great Tip Tina, don't know how some people do not know how to clean shrimp!!
I have learned since doing Demos for Sam’s Club that lots of people do. Or know the basics anymore. I’m happy that I can help
What is scrimp?
Really, your going to pick on my accent
Seriously, some people 🙄You can say shrimp however you want Tina!!
I didn't see what it was yet and I seriously thought it was something else. How would I know it was your accent? Sorry you thought I was making fun of you.
@@AP-xn7xlthank you
There are really homecooks out here eating the poop vein thank you for showing em how its done

@@Tinacannoncooks You're welcome Tina..
Thank you Tina. I have boneless skinless chicken breast. I am using taco seasoning as a dry brine. How long should they be in the fridge before cooking to maximize flavor penetration
An hour should be plenty
@@Tinacannoncooks thank you it was wonderful
