Hispanic Heritage Month Presentation 2016
This is my favorite MH-53E video! A little partial I suppose, my OIC det onboard the USS Ponce.
Civilian workers on MY ship - - -It's just heresy! {PLank Owner - -1971-1974}
Awesome job! I was wondering what is the difference between the mission of the Coastal Patrol ship and the Coast Guard? Traditionally it was the Coast Guard who had the mission, correct me if I am wrong please.
I was the commissioning Command Chief. I hated to see the old girl decommissioned last month 😪
Training has gotten soooooo much better. I was part of the program that started this, “operation vigilant mariner” team Juliet.
lol got enough guns? lol
I was on the Tornado (14) from 2002-2006. Best time of my life.
Beautiful thanks
I think it would be cool to be on a small ship like that.
I was with HM-19 Golden Bears, 1990 Reserve Squadron !! We were absorbed into Active Navy Squadron HM-15 BLACKHAWKS Nas Alameda Ca.. Shortly Thereafter we were moved to NAS CORPUS CRISTI TX. I WAS A Naval airewman 22 yrs CH46 Ds UH1N Huey's MH 53 E. I must say Dangerous but exciting work . I fulfilled my Dreams of being a Naval Aviator. I wouldn't Change a thing
Wait a second. The titel says FY16 CPO pinning but at the end he says FY17 Chiefs arriving? What's going on here?
I commissioned the USS Firebolt as a EM3. Good to see her still out there!
My old Lady. Put her into commission in July of 1971.
Missing doing that....best job in the world.
As a plankowner on the Shamal I had the best time in the Navy. If personalities clash it can be rough. Def had to navigate the relationship issues being so close all. the. time. The prob that happened w these ships is when they went from special operations to blue water Navy. Waaaaay too much crap thrown on to the PCs in blue water. Waaaaaaaaaay too much crap. Blue water has no idea what to do with these. Blue water only knows how to patrol invisible boxes in the middle of the ocean for months at a time. Back in my day we were pirates. That is a long time gone.
I was on the Tornado from 02 - 06. Was the Shamal in LC or SD?
Seamine: Its so cold and lonely down here... Oooh, a thing, Hello There! *(Kaboom)*
Tough little ship
Chesty Puller was at Parris Island when I graduated from Marine Corps boot camp Nov 9th 1967. I did not see him because the drill instructors threw us on the bus for Camp Geiger.
Combat cook.. HOORAAH!! CS1 (SW)..
Those 2 dislikes came from mainland China. No doubt about that. Salute! 🇺🇸
Hooyah Navy!
why are these guys dress like the army with camo? LOL silly
I was at NAS Corpus Christi 2000 to 2003. There's 2 things i remeber. 1. If its not leaking its empty. 2. Dont talk into the rear tube. Lol its not for comms.
So many I slept with I was in corpus
Oh look balloons it is a party
Thank you for your service!
ggx swimming in the ocean
the last ship brought me here lol
Why on earth would the Navy retire the Pegasus PHM's and replace them with these POS?
Maintanance costs, operating costs, etc...
I loved the PC world. Before RSO got involved and tried to complicate everything.
BITCH ID SWIM AWAY
Hello, My name’s Fiona; I’m an Archive Researcher on a documentary about the English Channel, which will be broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK. I’m looking for footage of controlled explosions at sea to include in our show, and I came across your video. Would you mind letting me know whether we might be able to use this clip at all please? I can be contacted at blast@blastfilms.co.uk or +44 (0)20 3841 6000. Do let me know if you need any more information! Many Thanks.
Since you are coastal patrol, I assume you close to land. Is there a VBSS version for going on land since you are so close? In other words do you ever get in small boats and then land on a beach or dock to do some kind of mission?
Yes. On my second deployment to Iraq we did 140+ boardings, but I was only on the VBSS team about a dozen times. The other times I just drove the RHIB. And we did go up the Um Qasr river to do some patrols or escort ships/boats to open water.
@@jacobfrasier8137 did you do any landings while upstream?
@@MbisonBalrog No. We never did that.
D7 Miss.
this is relaxing
Would love a go with the twin .50cal......

HM-16. SEAHAWKS forerunner to HM -15 Great Job Shipmates!
And "We" the U.S. Military Complex take 47% of your paycheck for these really cool toys! I will say the hull design is in a league of its own. Is it jet pump drive?
Yes, Twin Hamilton HM651 waterjets
Great info about our working mine countermeasures forces but where are the leaders? I left the Navy in 1987 after working with mine warfare/countermeasures to build 8 MHCs in Savannah. The ships were great but the Navy didn't seem to have future requirements. Today, I continue to hope that we have adequate MCM equipment and activities, but it's hard to tell....
Are you guys MA's?
They do have some nice toys.
Fantastic. Great video.
nice boat
Looks like a torpedo explosion
