The bot jabbing simulates a button being pressed and when the counter hit lands it shows that the fastest button press got punished
The game refuses to acknowledge crosscut inputs at times. Crossup logic needs a rework in this game. I have yet to see any response from capcom about this despite many creators and competitors talking about it.
Its because they traded precise hurtboxes for these clunky 4 year hurt boxes that create invisible walls much further away from character then it should appear. Walking or dashing under jump ins was skill, now no longer.

Only during the St.Lk and on St. Hp. In which you can react. If they do it on your fireball its too late. If you continue with your string and hit Back Hk you can DI back or it will just break the armor. Your choice.

It becones easier in time. Also cr.mk, st. Strong, st. Short, cr. Mk, fwd strong, cr. Hp makes it 100 times easier.
But the trick is to press short at the peak of Juris jump and delay the jab a tiny bit.
