Hi, I’m Katrin, a professional bass player from the Netherlands with over 20 years of experience touring, teaching, and making music. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of playing with an incredible variety of artists, including American soul legend Marla Glen, the German metal-comedian Mambo Kurt, and “German Idol” winner Mike-Leon Grosch.

Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was always singing and writing my own songs - and that hasn’t changed! These days, I write, sing, and play bass in my indie-pop duo, w o l k e.

When I’m not performing or creating, I teach bass guitar in my hometown. My students inspire me every week by introducing me to their favorite bands and new songs to learn. That’s what motivated me to start my channel: a space where I share bass videos with tabs to make learning easier and more fun for bass players everywhere.
