I hope this video inspires you to enjoy the rainy days. we can learn so much from the seasons, I've definitely learned to slow down thanks to autumn and winter. my video on The Overstory by Richerd Powers : ua-cam.com/video/yjNPhbCujZ0/v-deo.htm...

omggg that is so cool! where in Sweden are you planning to study?🧡
@@leasmovingstudio I'm not sure where to study now because I am an exchange student(I don't have the right to choose this kind of thing) but if nothing goes wrong, I will be in Sweden next year😆

I think Tortured Poets Department is my favourite Swift album, but I don't have the extended version yet, I'm spacing out certain Swift purchases, Evermore October, Midnights extended 3am edition at Christmas, Red Taylors version in February and then The Tortured Poet's Department Anthology on the anniversary of its release, i'm such a geek haha. I loved the shot of that blue sky with those epic swurly clouds.
that's kind of nice! that way there are still new things to discover!! I can't do that, the day Taylor releases a new album is the day I will listen to it haha I have no self-discipline
Woow
<3
such a wholesome video! <3
thank you🧡
This is such a good video, and i loved your moments of humour, i too am a slow reader, and definitely have other better qualities haha. I have added the Swedish Folk and Fairy Tales to my wish list, i like to get folk/fairy tale stories in the run up to Christmas and Christmas itself. If i could recommend a book to you it would be The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden it's probably my favourite book, and it's perfect for reading during the autumn turning to winter time, I love the characters and their stories and it has such beautiful prose and imagery, and i love the cozy winter atmosphere of it. I will definitely read The Overstory, and The Importance of Music to Girls which sounds great at some point. I love the Netflix adaptation of Anne of Green Gables called Anne with an E, it definitely has that Autumn/Winter cozy vibe that you talk about it, my Mum and i have re-watched it about 3 times. The catcher in the rye was one of my favourite books as teenager. You definitely did the books justice. Nicole Kidman in pigtails is the best way to the end video with her auburn autumn hair ☺
thank you so much for your comment David! glad to know I'm not the only slow reader over her haha I've heard of the Bear and the Nightingale, but never picked it up, I will definitely be on the look out for it in my next bookstore expedition tell me what you think of both reads! they are sooo good I LOVE Anne with an E haha, I have also watched it about 3 times with my mom😅 that's actually why I started reading the books!
Really beautifull !
thank you 🧡
Great sélection, thank you Léa !!

Hi Lea....thanks for the recommending The Overstory, it will be next...going to start The Secret History by Donna Tartt as soon as it cools down from our heatwave.
YES!! my only goal on this channel is for everyone to read this book!!! I loved The Secret History, I read it two years ago and it's a perfect autumn book 📚
I hope you keep making UA-cam videos

Im going to read the lord of the rings for the first time!

this resonated so so deeply, and it came at the right time. thank you so much ❤

thank you girlie🧡
I find that it helps a lot to have more than one creative outlet. Creative flow is closely linked to spontaneity, meaning; when a good idea comes to you and you just have to drop everything to start working on it. A creative rut is kinda the opposite of that, it's when you keep starring at the same problem trying to push through it. But if you only have one creative outlet, it makes it a lot more difficult to get that feeling of euphoria that comes from being in a creative flow, because your creative outlet has now become an inevitable problem. However, if you can go be creative on another project - that you're just as passionate about - you have a continuous positive outlet that keeps you happy. And crucially, this will allow you to be more creatively open to ideas that can solve problems you have in other projects. To put it more simply; when you're a creative person your creativity is very important to your feeling of happiness, so it's important that your internal "creativity machine" never stops running. You have to keep that thing freshly oiled and running smoothly, at all times. Even when you're not doing anything creative, you'll want to think about doing something creative that excites you. Also, be careful with comfort activities, not because they're bad, but they will only make you feel good shortly. It's important to separate comfort activities and creative activities, they're two different types of happiness. You want to get into that creative flow where you're doing something that's so fun it makes you lose track of time. So while taking a walk is good for you, it's not a creative outlet on its own. But if you take a camera with you and take some pictures, then you get the same benefit of a comfort activity, while also doing something that gets your creativity flowing again. Same with baking; making your favourite cake is a good comfort activity, but if you instead try to bake a new cake (with ingredients that you love) you also spark your creativity, while getting the comfort of eating something delicious in the end. Overall it's just about being aware of what you do as a creative person, to make sure you're not just passing time, but that you're spending time. Hope that makes sense. Keep being curious ^^
This is so interesting. I read an interview with Joni Mitchell, in which she explains exactly that. She does not get a writer's block, because when she can't write she just paints! Your comment reminded me of this, so thank you🌷 Very true also with the comfort activities, but I also know that when I'm not feeling great, I like to do something I know I do well. It reassures me and gives me confidence, I guess. Thank you so much for having taken the time to formulate and share your thoughts on creativity with me🧡
This is everything, thank you ❤
i really felt this, thank you <3
I'm so glad this resonated with you🧡
me senti um amigo próximo assistindo você
oh that is so kind! thank you🧡

Morning from Phnom Penh ❤
hi girl!! i'm living in the middle of a german city and am desperately in need of more nature around me so it was so nice to see your slow morning. love your vibe!!!
hi!! I'm so happy it could be of a little comfort to you🧡 I remember when I lived in Paris I used to watch vlogs about people in nature all the time to calm my mind🌷 so I'm very happy this video brought you a little bit of that🌼
I'd never heard of Sex and Rage or Eve Babitz before, so i've added that to my buy list. I had never thought of favourite summer books before, i'm too much of an Autumn/Winter person that i have a book wish list of winter reads to buy, I could tell you my favourite Winter books, although maybe when winter comes you could do a favourite winter book vlog. Probably my favourite that i read during Summer is Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Wind, Sand and Stars, it's been awhile since i read it, but i remember reading it in the summer and absolutely loving it.
i've never read this one by him, but if you recommend it I'll have to check it out🌼 thanks for your comment David, always happy to read you🦋
I love this morning POV !!😄
haha thank you🧡

YEAAAH !!!! :D
I really like this video and your reflections and I do resonate with most of it. However, I find that the part when you say "I am a social human and not a natural human" or something like that doesn't make sense. Humans are naturally social, we are influenced by our circumstances, our society, our upbringing and those around us, and I find much beauty in that, the parts that we take from others also say a lot about us. I am convinced that it can coexist with having an individual personality and it is not something we should run away from. Perhaps it was not your intention to say that, but it is a perspective I felt compelled to share. In any case I do feel very inspired by your search for identity and I hope you enjoy it and experience it at it's fullest.
Thank you for sharing ! By social human, I meant more this idea of having to perform in society and this facade that we create of ourself. I might not have expressed myself properly. I agree with you that there is a beauty in being influenced by the people that surround us, by the things we consume and the situations we live through. I don't want to completely break away from that. I think what I want is to be more conscious about what and who I let myself be influenced by. 🌷
@@leasmovingstudio that makes total sense and I support you in that! Perhaps deleting social media and reflecting more about ourselves is something we should all do
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, i certainly had similar thoughts in my early to mid 30's about where i was going, and read several philosophy books, i had certain dreams and aspirations in my 20's in terms of music, some were fulfilled and some weren't and i become a bit disillusioned about everything, however after some soul searching for a few years and now over the last 5 years in my 40's music has found it's way back to me in an even stronger way, like it's a re-energising of everything from playing piano, composing, and listening, and along with that more book reading, catch ups every so often with my 4 friends who have similar interests, and i enjoy it when they share something that they have been absorbing, it all adds to up to something, i'm not sure what haha, but I know I love composing and practicing on the piano😊 But sometimes i do wish i was Jack Antonoff haha.
thank you so much for your message and for sharing your thoughts David ! it sounds beautiful how music has come back to you and that you have friends to share your passion with🌷 i think not getting the recognition we hope for our work can be very hard and can leave us very disillusioned and I think we all sometimes wish we were Jack Antonoff haha but I also think we have to look at what we achieve at our own scale and I think there's a beauty in creating art not for the whole world to see but only a select few, it feels maybe more sacred (i don't know I'm thinking out loud now haha)
@@leasmovingstudio Yeah you are right about achieving things on our own intimate scale, the beauty is in the creating and hearing someone's thoughts on whatever has been created.
yeaaah :)
