I thought this was a very fine effort, Kapono. To play harmonics continually for over 3 minutes, especially in front of an audience takes some doing! I know, because I was always too nervous even to attempt them, though my own playing has never been in your class. The odd blips are only to be expected, even by the better players like yourself. I have also been enjoying your fine performances on Alan Akaka's "Livestream".

Harmonics are sometimes difficult due to distractions in performing before an audience. Your Harmonic difficulty during first verse and chorus was due to right hand block being too heavy on strings. It must be very light touch with heel of right hand. I know that you probably know that, but just in case you did not, I wanted to draw attention to the need for a very light touch of the right hand needed on harmonics. Your harmonics were much better toward the middle and the end of the song. You are going to be a great player, so keep on practicing.
