A legendary Hoosier guitarist and bluesman, Gordon has been a fixture in the Indiana music scene for 25 years, having played with the Ragin' Texans, Yank Rachell, The Kings of Rhythm, The Cooler Kings, and now fronting his own band. Equally comfortable on a Martin or National Steel as he is a Strat, Gordon has proven himself to be an equally talented acoustic musician

Excellent! I have just posted my acoustic guitar/voice arrangement on my tube...
come back baby come back baby come back baby come back baby I wish you would..... the breathholding technique on this one is AMAZING - so amazed by your abilities @tomharoldart
yes i am a fan for sure , very tasteful playing and good vocals as well .
where ya been?
It's nice. You got a real nice Country Voice.
lives and breathes blues, we get to listen. Thank you, GB
Another fan. Played with Gordon and Tim Brookshire in B-ton at the Bluebird open mic. Swings like a gate is right.
really good job! so soft, but bright and, i can say, right.
Great version guys, Eric would love it!
I live in indiana and happened to see this by accident and think it's great.
I saw Gordon at the Slippery Noodle. 3 Times. He is awesome. Great guitar player. Can you say blues
Sweet sound. The groove just chugs along like an old Freight train. Aloha from Hawaii, Thomas
lovely playing
guys you are brilliant I just keep coming back to your stuff please post some more new songs soon.thank you.
great work !
guys this is magnifico well done and many thanx for posting
Schweet!
Fantastic, soulful blues! As a fellow guitar player from Indy, I've take that long highway 65 many times to the gulf of Mexico. However, when my baby left me, she took highway 70 heading west.
You know I love ya, Gordon! I haven't seen you around in a while. Maybe, I'll have to stop in the Noodle for a tune or two...
hey tommy G..check this out..
Great work! Nice solo ;)
Nothing beats a perfectly executed slow blues ;-) Superb !
increible
Love it
Great cover by the way
Why don't you give any credit to Duane Allman for this song? He made it what it is
yeah, that was all well and good and all but could you play a version of "the workman's song"? (i am holding up a lit bic flic right now, to the extent that it matters...)
This is great!
Bravo!!! 5*****
Great tone, great sound, great feelin', great blues.....lovely!!! Too much thanks for this magic minutes....
Great playing with attidute keep on BLUESING!!!
Play it like you live!
That last mando solo was just plain AWESOME. Inspiring, man.....sure makes me want to practice more! Thanks!
You guys are great!! Thanks!!
I played w/ him in the cooler kings, I believe I played with you on the Matt "Guitar" Murphy New years gig.... if my fading memory is correct.
I used to play with Gordon a long time a go, he swings like a gate, Jupus (the drummer) has a lot to do with it.
Man what a cover! Fantastic! And the mandolin is really stunning!!!! Congrats..
really like this cover. im really liking the mandolin addition in this. i was thinking of recording a version of this song and i think i want to add the mandolin in as well. this song sounds nice with acoustic instruments.
nice job. wrong key, but i like the maj7 chord(s) in the chorus.
Excellent playing guys.... taste and restraint.
very nice! Stat+ Super reverb =great tone.some very tasty mature playing Gord.
My advice is to do this song, Bell Bottom Blues, and Presence of the Lord with tuba and glockenspiel and post it again. Good job. I especially like the mandolin--though the overalls are passe.
nice singing, guitar playing is good, the first time i ever heard a cover of this song, that alone would be a reason to give you 5 stars, songs like layla unplugged tears in heaven a.s.o. are covered very often in the internet. my advise record the dominoes version of little wing, this song and tell the truth with electrics and post it again
Good job! really sounds nice! congratulations!
excellent. very tasteful use of the tremolo bar too!
I love it!!
