Habanera - Carmen Suite - Lower Strings Ensemble
Переглядів 3714 роки тому
Habanera from the Carmen Suite by Georges Bizet, arranged for String Orchestra by Clark McAlister. I also transposed eight measures of the trumpet part since it seemed missing, and played some of the parts down an octave or two since it, to me, sounded more fitting in the low strings ensemble setting. I also had my brother Aidan play a few parts for this one, the bass part sounded a lot better ...
Canon in D - Cello Quartet

Canon in D (Pachelbel's Canon) composed by Johann Pachelbel, arranged for Cello Quartet by Nick Halsey. Nick has a website where I get the music, and I figured I'd link it since this is the third arrangement of his I've recorded: celloexpressions.com/ Enjoy :)
Ashokan Farewell - Cello Quartet

Another one arranged by Nick Halsey, this one was harder to match up the audio with the video so there's some blips, but I did what I could. Enjoy.
St. Anthony's Chorale - Cello Quartet

St. Anthony's Chorale for Cello Quartet, written by Joseph Haydn and arranged by Nick Halsey (Typo in video, whoops). Performed by Ethan Young, enjoy!

"I'm working on my new video"
wait this isn't art
sure it is
Complete and unequivical proficiency. Absolutely relishing in the glee and joyfulness of Pachelbel's Canon... And frequently seeking out the whereabouts of Nick Halsey and his family! Oh how I adore absolute monarchism that once relished the world in a tight and sweet embrace, how I wish to seek Pachelbel and his grandchildren to thank them for their contribution to the numerous statues I've seen along the streets of Nuremberg! I cannot fathom the unprecedented fore comings of those meddling children in the streets of Nuremberg at two in the morning, placing sticks of God all around for the natives to see... It holds and is permanently cauterized in my brain and soul that Pachelbel's beloved mistress turn down my hand at the Dance of the Swan in the blessed year of 1681, a year after the "Pachelbel Enlightenment"... That cursed succubus! Ill be damned that the day of Ethan Young's call to arms from the warmth and comfort of his domain be the day of Pachelbel's return... It must. Godspeed, Mr. Young, for providing a dreamful recollection of a summer's breeze on a blue-skied day.
Nice can't wait for the next song!
Keep these up Ethan!
This is a beautiful piece of music
Beautiful
