I'm a full-time assembler with a national company and build a lot of grills, wheelbarrows, toolboxes, patio furniture, riding mowers, and lawn equipment every year, with the occasional oddball online order.
After training a lot of new assemblers I decided to start this channel, as it's difficult to find resources when needed before you get experience. Hopefully it helps someone.

The 27 ton and 34 tin versions of these build generally the same way, with only minor differences.

New item day is always fun. Bumbling, confusion, and the rare appearance of assembly instructions.

Thank you...! Weber directions are trash.
Home Depot should be paying you more for this
@@abrammatthew756 Home Depot doesn't pay me, I bill them lol
Is it common to see the hydraulic fluid foaming through that clear hose? That's what my 27 ton is doing.
@jimschaffroth5652 no idea.
Thanks, mine will be here in 2 days, now I know what to do (I'm a visual learner).
This is why I prefer getting it in a box brand new & not assembled. Is great your showing on how you assemble it but you're just flinging parts around & scuffing the hardware & scratching surfaces on the wood top. If I'm paying for a $900 to a $1000 mobile workbench then I should be the 1 to scuff it ...that goes to show on how much he cares about his work....🤔
Here’s a million dollar question. One of the caster plastic pieces popped off the insert and I can’t get it back on. Any suggestions on how to pull these damn things out once their in ? Seems impossible.
@matthewjames5248 I've never had to remove them for repair, and it's hard to make suggestions without it in front of me.
Thanks so much for this video!! I assembled mine today and I love it. Since HD inventory is so crazy I went looking for one box and found this one unexpectedly and purchased it. It’s all kinds of fun when they don’t show any in stock and you try to buy it and they say no we don’t have one and you have to physically show them before they believe you 😂😂
@mrmontebuilder inventory seems to be an imperfect science lol. I haven't seen one since I recorded this. They're hit and miss at my stores.
@@AssemblySkwerle I’m in Bucks County PA and apparently they don’t have a guy that assembles things like you. So many of the boxes that required assembly like this are unbuilt and on display. Mine arrived missing the Husky badge off the front but it was there when I picked out the box. They offered to take it back and send another but it was otherwise undamaged so I took the $30 off the $648 clearance price and will find a badge on Facebook Marketplace at some point.
I’m pretty sure I see the clip at 7:38
It's called free assembly and free delivery at the Home Depot.
Not at the home depot around us.
Yes the nut should be on the inside. Unless it interferes with something.
Did it that way for a long time, but the instructions on the GPX 8D says otherwise, because they're stupid. It's gross and I hate it.
Keep up the good work👊🏻 Really good quality on your videos.
Appreciate it. I'm still figuring the video part out as I go, and might try some different things once we slow down for the year lol
Good job. Thank you for your care in assembly. 👍. Hope my 36” gets the same treatment this week prior to delivery at my local ACE.
Appreciate it. Yours show up yet? All good?
@@AssemblySkwerle. We actually picked it up in the box yesterday since they needed a week to assemble and deliver. My son and I put it together with no issues. Your video was very helpful. FYI I didn’t come close to your baseline time, much less 28 minutes lol. 😂 Just careful to avoid mistakes and marring the finish. Thanks again your video made it simple along with the enclosed instructions.👍
@richardweza3369 glad to hear.
Thank heavens for this video . my husband watched it before he assembled ours. Definitely didn't come close to your amazing assembly record 😅 Love my slate ❤ Thanks for sharing & great job

The way you organize your layouts per step is awesome.
It appears you have done this once before🤣. Awesome video sir!!! I need a small drill like that. what size bit?
Screws are #3 Phillips, long leg bolt nuts are 13mm socket, handles/stack hat I used a 6" 11mm nut driver. Driver was M12 Fuel Surge.
