That's very helpful info. I've had my NES since 1987, it's always worked, until a few months ago when I hadn't played it for (many years) so it wouldnt' run, I had to clean its pins, ran fine after that. It wasn't until lately where I put the shield back on it, had it unplugged, but the power was still in the cap. I saw a spark when it touched that area while adding it back in, becuase my RF signal was not very clear. Plugged it in and I think it worked for a moment, turned it off, thinking it's ok. Came back later to turn it on, nothing. I have a smell on my RF area aroudn that main cap. That's pretty close to telling me something happened. I'll get my alt meter tomorrow and see where is happening here. That's a childhood part of me the only one left.

I been using a Super SD2 for awhile and I'm having problems with Super Mario RPG. It freezes after I put in my name. I have all the chip set bins. Any idea why the game still isn't working? I thought this is a clone of the FXPak Pro.

This game looks fun. I never had a chance to play this or 3. I want to play them both.

Question for you: The videos you have did you change the resolution of the video files from any up scaling to 480p? and can you show the pi or tell us which pi your using?

Good video. It got me to pick one up and I went ahead and updated the firmware to 1.11.0 I was also able to change the theme after the update. I tried changing themes on the 1.10.3 but the games weren't working when I did. For the life of me I can't seem to find the 2 files needed to run the Super GB. Good use of the GBA frame on your video, creative and better than just a video insert on the video. It's about a year after your purchase, got an update on how the cart is treating you now? Have a good one!

There's a problem with MSU-1 on the clone carts. MSU-1 cannot run concurrently with the other enhancement chips like the SA-1.

This is the second of these that I've seen. Would be cool if someone could figure out a way to actually broadcast the signal that can be picked up with an antennae. Use 12 instances to broadcast to various frequencies which would allow you to channel surf in real time and you would also get the analogue artifacts for free!

Hey there. I know this is an old video, but I stumbled upon it just now when looking for something I could do with Raspberry Pi. And this video hooked me. Question: is there a possibility to make multiple channels to work at once while browsing the Retro TV with a remote? I mean, I'm planning to recreate the experience some Polish people had with channels like RTL7 or ZigZap or even Fox Kids/Jetix. I know it would require making more playlists judging by your tutorial and it would require a lot more than VLC and Crontab, but is there actually a way to make different channels?

I never got to meet your dad, although I do feel like I knew him quite intimately. we loved the same SNES games, we both did way too much for Halloween, and we both think the world of you, Nick. most of my family and friends and others I have been close to didn’t have a parent as fun loving or passionate or as involved with them in ways that brought them closer. your dad was truly a hero. you and the sibs are amazing and wonderful people because of his love and guidance and influence. I am not much for religion, but your regular stories about him, particularly around the holiday seasons, will forever have a special place in my heart. I wish I could be there for y’all with mild words and spicy food; but know that he lives on in all of you, and his memory will always be a blessing enshrined in the hearts and minds of your family, and all those you’ve touched emotionally. 😢❤

I can understand, why people want to save money, but the question is, what you’re cheaping out on here. What about voltages used by that cart? If this knockoff cart overvoltages your SNES, your console might die on you.
