First, kill the enemy sniper. If you don't kill it, you'll get a backlash.
Use a rifle with a silencer. If the enemy is alerted by a single gunshot, the sniper's It makes no sense.

Me too experiencing the same..i played with man city team..my LW player goes missing..tried substituting..but no use..any remedies??

Change the player whom was previously in the reserve bench and put him back in reserves, for some reason the game glitches when you put certain reserves in the squad. That player might not be playing for the team anymore
Very weird, downloaded and updated the squad as well but it seems to be happening with the Manchester United team only
