Let’s make a new version of karate kid script together now. I will make the opening scene. Then you follow with scene two at the beach. The boy meets girl scene. And conclude with thr mean old boyfriend rolling up. But it can’t be a beach. Because these are middle aged people now. And in my scene one your dealing with a middle aged man who still lives with his mom. So you can’t expect him to meet some guys snd go to a beach with some new male friends. Scene 1. Ralph is taking stuff off the top of a old car. His mom can’t move the stuff into the lower cost apartment. She is like 82 years old now. She is just sitting in a chair in a empty apartment nitting snd she has a cat that jumps up and surprising here. It scared her snd Ralph laughs. She asks who will do dishes today. He don’t like it cause he thinks she is ordering him around. She still cooks for him. He quit his last job on account of two things. He has a bad hip and can’t stand to cook like he used to. Also the guys they hire to work in thr kitchen are all pre release. One of them threatened him as he is a bad guy and drinks snd he also has sec with the rich owner. This lady just runs the kitchen snd restraint for fun. Her husband is much older snd she married him for the money. Ralph agrees to do the dishes but the ink sprays. Mom said go ask for the maintsnce man to fix it. Ralph walks down the stares snd ask for directions. He is polite as he don’t want to get his mom kicked out but infact is a sort of loner angry person. He meets the maintance man who is like 90. He is not chopping for flys with a chop stick. Rather he is a Vietnam vet wearing camp pants and snd is startled when Ralph walks in. And tells him to not walk up on him like that. He is doing x. Not sure what x is becsuse one of you will decide what his special skill is later and what he teaches Ralph. Surely it is not karate. He is a middle aged man with a. Bad hip now. Ralph asks the maintsnce man when he would come to help. He said after. Ok scene two. Boy meets girl like in the first movie at the beach. Snd the mean ex sees it. But it can’t be a beach. Because this is a middle aged loner who don’t go out much certainly with anew group of guy friends

These 2 scream the retro 80s! One of the best movies ever! Cobra Kai is a masterpiece, it's like bringing the 80's into the future again!

Even though the original story is built around Macchio, it wouldn't be the sensation it is without Zabka. Billy is the king! 🤘🏻

I remember when Karate Kid hit theaters, I really had no interest in seeing it. Reluctantly went with a friend (I was 10) and didn't shut up about the movie for months, lol. Now my teens not only like the movie but Cobra Kai, it's so awesome. Lifelong love for these guys!!
