A first look and unboxing of the new to the UK Ninja Luxe Café Premier Espresso Machine ES601UK
Ninja Luxe Café Hot Water Feature!
Переглядів 1,1 тис.Місяць тому
The all new Ninja Luxe Café released in the UK today with the new hot water feature.
It looks very ugly especially the porter filter
I like ninja products but this one just seems off the mark. That shot is way too fast adjustments needed
I believe grinder wheel adjustment causes the grinder to spit out a few grounds so as to prevent lockup.
So were you able to place two espresso and/or cappuccino cups in parallel?
Back in stock in the UK on Ninja’s website so ordered one! Do you have a link to the work top protector mat you are tamping on?

Just received mine here in the UK can’t wait to get started
Thank you for the review.
I wonder if I can just buy the single basket for my US version…😅
Thanks for the video. Just bought this same machine but I find myself having to slightly hold the machine in place while installing the portafilter due to its resistance. Do you find yourself having to do the same? I've noticed yours installed easier.
I do have to also hold the machine when inserting the portafilter. Unfortunately most 'at home' coffee machines will be like this due to them not having the weight to resist the locking in of the portafilter. It's like screwing a lid on a bottle really tight to prevent a leak, you always have to hold the lid and the bottle to achieve this. In commercial machines they weigh a significant amount more so they don't experience these issues. Hope this helps.
Great feature but it sounds like shit.
Damn dude. Clean your nails
Can’t wait to get mine just gotta wait as I’m getting the Uk version and it’s sold out already here 😂
I managed to pre order from Curry's. Hope you get yours soon!
Americano is nowhere near the same as quad. Quite the opposite. Quad is 4 espresso, americano is watered down espresso. Named for the soldiers in Italy WWII who couldn’t take the strong stuff, I believe. My question, I want to buy one, how can I ensure I get one with this feature? I’m in Canada, not Britain.
I believe it is just a waiting game until the next versions are released in the US/CA market.
Buy it from UK or Germany end of October 😊
Is Americano same as "Quad"? - I don't have the Americano option on mine... :/... I have Quad instead.
It’s only for the UK/ Europe edition of the Café Lux; it also has its own hot water button feature as well, with the water nozzle again only for the UK version.
@@JohnP.6775 Oh, OK, thanks. So stupid to offer those options only for one market... :/
Soon I believe there will be 3 versions available in all markets. The next level up will have an integrated tamper.
@@Para_Reviews they are doing an Osborne. Remember that computer company? Probably not, announced a new computer when they had sizeable inventory of their original computer. Everyone stopped buying b/c they wanted the new one and would wait. Well, it never showed up since the company went bankrupt carrying inventory they couldn’t move. I’ve had a Luxe in my Amazon shopping basket early on, just wanted to wait and see a few more reviews. And noticed I couldn’t get americano. Then I saw the UK version and my purchase is permanently on-hold until I can get the better version.
What model is this mine does not have the americano function? Thanks!
European model (UK)
So this is the updated version of the machine. The original version doesn't have the hot water button.
Correct! However this machine currently is only available in the UK/EU market. I believe there will be a total of 3 models eventually available, with the next level up having a built in tamper.
I got mine set up yesterday and am really happy with it so far. It is very useful having the filter coffee option.
Great to hear!
That was the worst steamed milk I've seen for a while. 90% non steamed and 10% thick foam.
Coffee people always acting like Karen’s
I recommend steaming your milk first so your espresso shot doesn't expire.
The milk “expire” as well from sitting till extraction is complete
@@haha7836hahahWhat are you talking about? The milk doesn't expire in 2 minutes. Espresso shots expire after 15 seconds, which affects the flavor. You're comparing apples to oranges regarding expiration.
No because if you like to make Latte Art it’s wrong. But cocoa on milk 😂
I’m pretty sure your tamper is still locked. I believe you twist the top of the tamper counterclockwise and then it unlocks for use and the spring works properly at that point. It just seems like your tamper spring action isn’t working. Thank you for this video!
You were right. Unfortunately doing a first look with one hand proved to be tricky!
Anyone watching the audio gets better after 0:50 not sure what the fever dream of an intro is. Cut out the intro / outro and you’d have a pretty decent video.
Yes sorry about this. The audio failed so I had to re record it. As you said it's a bit pointless this bit anyway so I'll remove it when I can access a desktop pc
I stopped watching at 0:01 - my ears hurt !
Bro the audio on this is so fucked man. It sounds like you attached the mic to the inside of a subway train
So you didn't watch more than 50 seconds?
hot water comes out like me going for a wee after 10 pints
And the coffee is you on the crapper the day after 10 pints? 😆
It would probably be easier to just steam the water if your trying to make a americano or tea
Why bother when there is an Americano program built in? The drink is prepared from start to finish automatically so there's no need to do this second step separately. However, if you need water for tea or, wish to create the drink manually, the solution would have been to use the provided platform slotted in at the proper height to raise the glass so it wouldn't make a mess instead of using a tiny glass in the position meant for a large mug. It's completely sufficient
This is me every morning. Thats got to be the worst hot water feature.
In fairness to ninja, it's designed for a large mug to be underneath rather than a shot glass so it shouldn't spill over too much
@@Para_Reviews But still that flow is splashing everywhere. I love the machine but this feature is a disappointment.
@@emmanuelj18. I've seen several people complaining that it's not sufficient? Really? The person in this video is using a small glass located all the way down in the position for a large travel mug, OF COURSE it's going to make a mess. You people do realize that there is a platform that slots in at multiple heights to raise the glass higher right? Had the demonstration been properly done there would be no mess. I'm sorry but, please people, try to think critically. Work through problems and you will likely see the solutions were clear.
@@genesishep I guess you’re missing the point. It’s not about the glass. It’s about the flow. That flow looks extremely cheap and messy. Have you heard of Laminar flow? I’m not expecting it to be perfect but it should be close enough. Not sure if Ninja is paying you to praise cheap features but I’m a consumer and I refuse to pay for something that cheap. You can throw your money away but if I find something below par. I will speak about it and not be a Simp to a company that is meant to keep their customers happy.
Can you change the volume as that didnt fill the cup. Or it manual everytime after
Manual eveeytime I believe. I'm away currently but will explore more of the machine when I'm back
