Philips Sonicare Alternative? Lächen Toothbrush from China 🤔 #review #sonic #comparison
After one and a half decades of me using the Philips Sonicare Toothbrushes I'm more and more disappointed by that company. They were off to an amazing start with high priced but high quality products. My first model lasted seven years without a problem until I forgot it at a hotel room...
From then on they all expirienced the same issue...
Water is seeping into the body and switching the brush randomly on and off. The only thing you can do is destroying it...
My last brush lasted only about 1,5 years until I had to smash it to pieces while on a road trip! Even tough it was still the guarantee period Philips denied helping me out as I destroyd the brush. Well there are not many other options - right?
Bummed out I look for alternatives - maybe I find it in the chinese brand "Lächen"? I bought that brush on amazon for 40€, lets find out if its any good!

Lada Zhiguli with WEBER Carburettors | Test Run in Austrian Alps

After one year of a full time job restoring this Lada VAZ 2103 'Zhiguly' and treating it with the whole range of classic naturally aspirated tuning - it was finally time to give it the first proper test run. The Twin Weber DCOE 40 carburettors are fitted with 135 Main Jets and 50 Idle Jets - its just what they came with and I have no idea from which engine. Its very clear that the jetting has t...
Soviet and Russian Cola VS Coca Cola! Can we tell the difference? How bad can it be? 😅

Yes, its true - its very very hard to find real Coca Cola in Russia after the US Company left the market one year ago. But does this mean you have to wave goodbye to the original taste? As everywhere in the world there are many different companys producing their own kind of Cola - some taste good, some not so much. Some even better? Anna and me got ourselves the most popular brands of Cola in R...

    And gold is just a rock. Nobody cares if whitewalls were the more economical version, they only care about how they look. PS: Two-tone paint jobs were more expensive and so were vinyl tops, so based on your logic, we should all still desire those too.

    • @unfinishedthought
      @unfinishedthought 18 днів тому

      I think you really didn't get my "logic". All I did was conveying the history of white wall tyres, without putting any value tag on what they are today or how somebody should value them. Anyway white walls like back in the days are not produced anymore for almost a century. Under the white wall of the todays versions is always black rubber - so they are equal in quality. PS: Gold is a metal and not rock

    • @LuckyCharms777
      @LuckyCharms777 17 днів тому

      @@unfinishedthought Your entire premise is based on people mistakenly assuming whitewall tires were originally a luxury, which you have no evidence to support. Instead of just explaining the history of whitewall tires, you introduced a value component to them and later literally stated they were cheaper to buy compared to carbon tires. Additionally, while carbon tires were indeed more expensive, what’s more luxurious, an infrequent purchase of expensive long-lasting carbon tires or being able to afford more frequent purchases of less durable whitewall tires because a car owner prefers their appearance? Luxury means different things to different people. Also, of course gold is metal in the literal sense, but it’s often found in rocks. My point was that to some earlier generations of people it was nothing more than pretty colored veins in a rock rather than holding any particular monetary value, just as some people like whitewalls because they think they’re pretty, not because they think they’re luxurious.

      Getting there! So far AFR is perfect in full throttle at low to mid range RPM, then its gets too rich up to 1:12. I still think my main jet is right and the final adjustments need to be done with the air correction jet and emulsion tubes. I also still get some issues with quick acceleration even though my pump jets are already quite big. Setup so far: Main Jet 116 (reamed) Air Correction 185 Emulsion Tube 45 F9 (air holes reamed to 0,8mm) Pump jet 85 Pump exhaust spill valve 60 I try to ream the air correction jet a little bigger, drill another set of holes in the emulsion tube for the very high RPM area (close to the main jet) and size the pump exhaust spill valve a good chunk smaller, maybe 40

    • @unfinishedthought
      @unfinishedthought 5 місяців тому

      Dishwashing soap is not designed to be able and clean something without the manual help of scrubbing. Hence you will not get a clean bottle with that. Dishwashing Detergent on the other hand is - thats why it gets the job done. With baking soda and vinegar you'll get a smelly volcano out of you bottle and you'll disinfect your grime but it will stay there and in a day or two will smell again.
