Learning to Skateboard - Ollies, Shove Its, and Rock to Fakie

I have recently decided to learn how to skateboard. I am tired of watching all the cool youtube and instagram clips of great skateboarders and I really wanted to learn for myself. Skateboarding is challenging both mentally and physically for me but it is a skill I can take anywhere, and grow with a community of people as well as enjoy a new hobby with my friends.

We mostly stayed in hostels during this entire trip, but decided a few nights we should experience some of the amazing villas and houses you can book here with AirBnB. We spent our last day in Nusa Penida exploring a few more of the famous spots like Thousand Islands Viewpoint, and Diamond Beach which are very close to each other. After a fun day on Gili T, we took a boat straight on to Nusa Penida. Today we packed up all our stuff and headed out early to see the sunrise at the Campuhan Ridge Walk. Since we couldn't visit Mount Rinjani due to the rainy season, we opted to do the easier hike up Mount Batur to see the beautiful sunrise. We bargained with some local tour sellers and arranged a transport from Ubud to the mountain, as well as a guide up. I think it cost around 300K IDR/person, and was well worth it. Seriously one epic hike, but not too crazy for the average person to complete....

These are two of the waterfalls we visited while in the Ubud area. They are both less than an hour away from Ubud, and if you wanted to hop around from one to the other you easily could. Made our way from Seminyak and Kuta all the way (not far) to Canggu. This is one of the more touristy spots of Bali, and well known for the surfing.
