Honestly the timing was convenient. I had just purchased it, and I learned this method for personal benefits. I just made the guide for fun and to help others.

This was happening for me as well. iMazing makes a sub-folder under the backup file for the step instructions @10:30. Pay VERY close attention to which folder he is copying and pasting @13:30, notice how the folder he copies and pastes into that folder has a different name. For me, instead of deleting the folders I just looked at what the contents of the backup folder were supposed to look like (should have a ton of folders) and I copy and pasted those folders into the existing folder instead of deleting it like instructed @13:17. Its hard for me to explain perfectly but what you want to do is make sure that once you are in user/<name>/appdata/roaming/applecomputer/mobilesync/backup the folder existing there containing the backup files does not have a single sub folder there, instead it needs to have the long list of folders labled "00" - "ff" with a few files at the bottom. @@M0RT4L_official there’s no reason this shouldn’t work on an iPhone 13, since it supports the same iOS as the iPhone 15. I have not played Alive in Shelter, but as long as it stores the save files locally on your phone like Fallout Shelter, you should be able to export them just like I did in the video.

@@gh0ztyyy812 There shouldn’t be any difference, but for some reason, when you download it from Apple.com, it is not the latest version and requires you run the Apple Software Update function that comes with the install.

@@PrinceSEKHON2630 it stores it in a slightly different path. Easiest way to access your backup in file explorer is to right-click the backup in Apple Devices and click “Open in explorer”.

@@muscy2637 While I have not tried this on Mac, the backing up process should be very similar, and iMazing supports Mac OS, so it should definitely be possible using the software I used in the video. I am unsure if Finder would work as I have never navigated my phone’s files with it.

@@iamzachhunter Sounds good. I think it will be possible on my end. When you restored from your backup, did you notice anything regarding having to log back into any of your apps or were they exactly as you left it before you restored from the backup?

@@muscy2637 you have to log back into your apps, but if you use iCloud Keychain, this is made very easy.

@@rutvikpatel2288 I have encountered this same issue before. Check to see if there is a backup under Local Disk > Users > [username] > AppData > Roaming > Apple Computer MobileSync > Backup. If there is a folder named after a serial number, that is your backup. If iTunes isn’t recognizing this backup, I recommend installing the Apple Software app for Windows. It is far less buggy than iTunes and should recognize backups to restore from. Let me know if that works for you.

@@kendallbarry3041 glad you were able to repurpose it for Fortnite. The principals should apply to most iOS application files.

@iamzachhunter Yeah, it's incredible. I tried to use iMazing alone because you can extract and restore game files, but unfortunately, when you try to restore your altered documents to the app, it error codes and says it can't restore because the app is not valid or has been tampered with. I was so upset and have been trying to think of a method and look stuff up for the last couple days. I came across your video a few hours ago and tried it when I got home..I was worried it wouldn't work for Fortnite or at all cause I always seem to run into the worst luck with errors or malfunctioning things, but alas, it worked!. Was skeptical when I had to let Fortnite reinstall its data, but I went into a game and the fps was 120 rather than the 30 that it's limited to on iPads for the next month until iPadOS 18 comes out. I'm sharing your vid with the mobile community for others to use and make more tutorials for Fortnite. You're awesome. Don't know how I found your vid. If I missed it, I'd have never known.

@iscreen1839 Because you can edit game files by doing this. It doesn't matter the game. For fortnite, to access GameUserSettings.ini, you need to access the apps files, and this is the way to do it. For Fallout you're accessing the save files, for Fortnite your accessing settings.

To name a few: Skyrim, Terraria, Minecraft, Hollow Knight, Darkest Dungeon, Don't Starve Together, Bioshock, XCOM, Baldur's Gate 3

Thank you lol. In addition to the gold pass, I have been buying the cheapest 1-2 offers in the store when they come out. Those are only a few dollars and usually offer great value for books and builder potions.

I recorded it using GeForce overlay. It came out fine initially, but when I edited it together with my second clip using Windows MovieMaker Pro, the results looked washed out like this. I honestly didn’t care enough to look for alternative video editors.

Heroes Vs Villains is more fun than co-op, but every now and then co-op is a relaxed, good time.

It’s Origins, which originally released in BO2, but was included in the Chronicles DLC for BO3.

Believe it or not, it took multiple attempts to make this. NPC drivers can flip out and drive into you pretty easily.
