Wollemi Adventures
Australia
Приєднався 2 бер 2021
Wollemi Adventures is about appreciating the Australian bush and showing the endless adventures that can be had whilst in the great outdoors. I'm a 24 year old Aussie bloke based in the stunning Blue Mountains region with a passion for bush-walking, canyoning, rock-climbing and pretty much anything else that gets me outside. Being born and raised in the Mountains, means that the outdoors is in my blood and I'm bloody keen to share my adventures with all of you.
If you stick around you'll see the mind-blowing diversity of the Australian bush and get to access some remote and rugged environments with me, which hold some of the most beautiful landscapes you've ever seen.
If you can do me a favour and subscribe to the channel, and let me know in the comments below each video what type of content you'd like me to produce! If it gets me into the outdoors and I'm happy to do it - I'm pretty much a real life version of Jim Carey in 'Yes Man'.
Looking forward to get to know you all!

Floating Down a River through a Wilderness Canyon - Blue Mountains, Australia (4K)
Wollemi Adventures here with another Blue Mountains Canyoning video!
This time was a little different; with the descent not involving any ropework or abseils whatsoever! We navigated our way to a tributary, following the natural pathway until we arrive at an awesome canyon constriction. Using lilos and wide variety of techniques (ranging from the effective to the down-right comedic) we swim several kilometres through tall canyon walls in a pristine wilderness environment. Eventually we exit the canyon through a side creek and whilst walking to return to the car, I reminisce about my youth. Hope you enjoy the video!

Big subscribe from QLD. Another great, informative video
Guys that was so good to watch. I’m from just north of Brissy and have been day dreaming of this kinda adventure one day.
Sick videos! Keen to see what you come out with in 2025!
Where in the blue mountains is this
I don't give away the locations of places as a general rule to prevent these beautiful environments from being overrun. Have you got any previous canyoning experience or know how to read a topographic map? I'd be more than happy to give you some hints in private if you would like.
Awesome!! 👏🏽👏🏽
Cheers mate - keen to see how your adventures go in the future!

Go on keano (Tony) 💪🏻
Love from Ireland I see! Tony was an absolute champion and smashed the abseils (and the bonus swim at the end).
Great vid, taken many beginners through this one myself, always a goodie!
Awesome video
Appreciate the support!
Another awesome video! Love watching the way you edit this stuff!
Cheers matey!
Crazy timing, just did this trip today. We added in the Grand Canyon section too.
Cheers Tim, it makes an awesome day going the both of them. Have you done Grand at night? Awesome glowworms.
@@WollemiAdventures No have not done at night. I have seen some glow worms in other canyons such as Claustral

Love this canyon, been through maybe 3 or 4 times but have never used that set of chains or abseils for the entry. Must be two ways down. Didn't know there were bolts.
Thanks for watching Ben! It means a lot for someone of your filmmaking caliber to give my videos a watch. Cheers!
Magnificent!
Thanks Jim, I appreciate the support!
Top video mate!

Really appreciate the support mate, glad you enjoyed it!
Are you new to UA-cam? Btw, you are amazing. ❤
Only started a couple months ago Sindeng! Appreciate the support mate.
You're filming style is so pretty. I really enjoyed!
Thanks Gavriella appreciate the kind comment!
Magical place.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching.
Nice and simple. I enjoyed. One of my passions is making field recordings of bush sound scapes, especially at dawn before the planes wake up. I might have to make that trip, I'll have to research where it is. Did you hear any traffic noise?
Appreciate the support Matt. From the cave I couldn’t hear any sounds of civilisation but the cave is surprisingly close to the road. This may be due to the croaking frogs and trickling waterfall drowning out any other noise.
Nice to hear an Aussie voice with familiar Australian places. Good video!
So glad you enjoyed it Kathy! Appreciate the support’

Great video. You mentioned you’ve used Trangia stoves for years. What fuel do use in them?
Thanks Wayne for the support and the comment! Methylated spirits are available practically everywhere and quite cheap, so that’s the fuel I normally use!
Keep up the good work bro!
Thanks Kance I appreciate the support!
loved this.😁
Thanks for the support - really appreciate it!

I’d like to say it’s toe-may-toe vs to-mart-o!
@@WollemiAdventureshahaha dont forget the potatoes! I had to look up how to pronounce trangia because i thought i was saying it wrong for all these years! 😂 They really are the greatest.
Hello 👋 nice to meet you
Nicely done! Thank you.
Thanks Chris! Really appreciate the comment and the support!

Really appreciate the support Louis! Definitely looking to get back out in the Wollemi when I get some days off! Thanks for watching again!
This was a really enjoyable watch, well done turning the adventure into what is an insightful and well narrated film.
Appreciate the support mate! And likewise to you with your content! I certainly aspire to produce content of your quality!
favourite part of the world. Wollemi...Stop look around you
Absolutely awesome country isn't it Nathan! Hopefully got some more longer trips planned into the Wollemi NP when my roster aligns! Thanks for the support!
Wow! Incredible scenery, and that canyon was amazing!
So glad you enjoyed the video Sam and thanks for the support!
was this Psyn Cave campsite? sorry if you mentioned it in the video and I missed it!
Appreciate the support and interest in the location. With the advent of certain social media accounts, a lot of previously beautiful and pristine areas have been seriously defaced and ruined. Furthermore, the cave featured in the above video is in an incredibly remote section of the wilderness, meaning only those who are fully capable and equipped to access it should be able to. I've left a few nuggets of information in the video that means those who are capable and willing to do some research should be able to locate it, however I won't be providing any more information about it publicly in order to preserve this location and promote personal exploration. To answer your question however, this is not Psyn Cave, which is on the southern(ish) side of the Blue Mountains as opposed to this cave on the North. Hope this helps and once again, I appreciate the support!
Wow awesome video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Chandara appreciate the support mate!
Very nice footage and informative video, thank you for sharing. Subscribed for future adventures.
My pleasure mate - glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for supporting the channel!
Well done, great video!
Thanks mate appreciate the support!
Nice video - I enjoyed that. Thanks for taking us along
Thanks Alex! Appreciate the support and glad that you enjoyed the video.
Why do you young idiots have tell us all about it? Why can't you just do it and shut up?? Many have gone bush before you. Or didn't you know? The more people you drag into the bush the more beauracritised it becomes. So thanks for stuffing it up famous boy on UA-cam!
Really impressed by the sorts of terrain you both are able to traverse. I reckon that must take some training! Great video
It definitely was tough in sections but you know the saying - the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice! Thanks for watching Jason - appreciate the support!
Sick video, great edit, very inspiring!
Glad you liked it and I appreciate the support!
