I think the end of this anime is Natsume married Mikan and live Happily ever after.

Its really unfair. Gakuen Alice needs at least half more of its season 😔 how can it not even have a second season? 😢 Its my favorite ever childhood anime that i still fell for even after rewatching when i forgot almost everything 💞 no episode fail to make me excited and smile 😊

So I’m not a fan of manga at all, cuz I find it so hard to read, but because I LOOVE THIS ANIME SO MUCH to the point of death and was dying from waiting, cuz like it’s been more than 10 years alreadyy!! 😭 I decided to read the manga, and may I just say I don’t regret it at all?! Cuz like, it was so beautiful 😭 it took me some time to learn how to read but I definitely enjoyed my time reading it! The background details, explanation and the love bloom between Natsume and Mikan 🥺 it was so worth it + I was going through a very hard time when I was reading it, so I gotta say it’s one of the best memories that lays clear in my dark days 🥺 I wish I could read it again

I wish they continued the ending and made more content out of it!! There's so much potential that it has now that the characters have grown up and could have more freedom living possibly in the outside world or helping shape the Academy up (OR ADVENTURING WITH HOTARU IN THE TIME WARP REALM!! sorry i just mikan and hotaru so much i wish they get more scenes together, and that somehow along the line down that hotaru and her older brother can be relieved of their punishment T^T (its a fantasy guys)). Ultimately, I'm very thankful of Tachibana-sensei to give us an amazing series with lovable characters!!! I kinda gave up that there could be an anime remake of this series, but a manga continuation will save me from the anticlimatic-cliffhanger ending we recieved (I know it's reader's freedom to interpret how the story's ending is, but I'm not that creative and prefer more concrete evidence to feel satisfied with this story!!) I hope I can find others that share my selfish opinions too 🥲😭🤗 . . . !!SPOILER WARNING!! !!IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE MANGA, DON'T READ THIS SECTION!!! (it's a small wonder considering not being thoroughly explored with the limited epilogue material given so there's a bit of a bias endgame-shipping thing here, you've been warned!)!! Apparently, there's some leaked information that Tachibana-sensei shared (I saw it long ago, and after a few years, dabbled into Gakuen Alice again), of Gakuen Alice epilogue, that Mikan and Natsume's wedding, the main cast finding the Imai siblings and of other character's regrets/accomplishments over the years. And it's just a wonder of seeing one of the pictures, that Natsume's life will be cut short soon after graduating from the academy due to his alice shape (great alice power=short lifespan), meaning he won't grow old with Mikan and a possible future family 😭😭 (greatly saddens me). So I was wondering, in order to prolong his life than be die early, why can't Mikan use her stealing-insertion alice to insert the highschool principal's alice stones (longevity alice) into Natsume to prolong his life more? His body's already past the point of saving so he uses his alice in minimal ways to limit being in danger-- but he's still at risk. Can't he be saved to live longer by having the highschool principal's alice stones within him, hoping that his compatibility with the stones are impeccably high? Like, Mikan's uncle is already expected to live a long life due to his longevity alice, and the previous middle school principal was able to live for quite a while in a youthful state due to inhabitating the longevity alice stones SO WHY CAN'T NATSUME LIVE FOR THAT-- IM SO SORRY FOR CONTINUOUSLY RAMBLING ABOUT THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN BUT NATSUME AND MIKAN FOUGHT SO HARD FOR THEMSELVES, EACH OTHER, AND FOR OTHERS SO LIKE WHY THROW AWAY THEIR EFFORT TO ONLY BE TOGETHER FOR A SHORT WHILE (yes yes, they got to cherish their limited time together to the fullest, learning to be grateful and stuff blah blah) SO WHY THROW AWAY THAT EFFORT ISTG TACHIBANA-SENSEI LOVES THROWING AWAY EVERYTHING THE MOMENT IT CAN BE FULLY ACHIEVED I just find it displeasing that after natsume has passed, mikan is with ruka? in one of the epilogue photos, like he's chosen now as he's what's leftover to still love/be with romantically, maybe. I want mikan to be with natsume fully, even if the author still wants to give an open ending that mikan can end up with either: natsume, hotaru, or ruka. I don't mean to shit on rukaxmikan shippers or the ship, I find the ship cute, it's just I don't fully support it since: 1. I see them as wonderful bestfriends that trust and not-entirely-but-at-least-platonically love each other a lot 2. Their dynamics is too similar that their bond isn't as deep and likeable to me compared to natsumexmikan (yes tachibana sensei also favours for ruke to be with mikan but common, natsume and mikan grew to have an irreplaceable love in each other and for themselves) 3. YES RUKA LOVES MIKAN AND I DON'T WANT TO DISMISS THEIR LOVE BY NOT BEING WEIGHED AS MORE EMOTIONALLY DEEPER THAN THE OTHER BUT I've warned you all that I have a bias ship here so I prefer natsume over ruka to be with mikan

I really wish they would make alot of anime follow the manga and this is one of them. I always go back to read the Manga and I wish the Manga itself was able to go further In their adventures of when they got older to find The Imai siblings instead of making a new story about a whole different person we never really knew of
