Gwiddon opened our circle with a poem by Ismael S Rodriguez Jr, followed by Morgana who presented the 2024 Award to the Schansker Food Garden, from Bad Nieuweschans, Netherlands.
Jody Busch & Jans Buurma accepted the Award and then presented the Food Garden project in more detail.
Catharina Gieskens, from Four Worlds Europe, and also living in the Netherlands, continued our gathering by underlining the importance of initiatives by young people. Coming from an Indigenous background she also emphasised the necessity of connecting to the land where we live, or as we often say, with The Spirits of the Land.
Today - because of advanced technology - we can connect with people all over the world. Steve shared a recent discovery he made by introducing us "to the Wonderful World of EARTHism and EARTHists from Planet Blessed".
Morgana concluded the gathering by reminding us that 'Sharing and Caring' is not an empty cry and closed with the beautiful 'Prayer for Grateful Hearts’ by Grandmother Flordemayo & Heather.
