I think we saw the pillow with straps next to you the whole time
after you harvest sweet red peppers for the first year. Will they bear fruit the following year?
@@JoeViau yes! I am on year three with some of our peppers,Having them over-winter in the basement with a south facing window. I prune them pretty heavy, just a few leaves to catch sunlight, by mid April I’m setting them out side a few hours a day until after our frost passes.
@@8oclocktomatotalk Great. thank you so much.
@ you’re welcome 🙂
@@8oclocktomatotalk they even get woody as they get older. They look like shrubs on older pepper farms. Also kev nice dog
@ great point Jarett!, And thanks about the dogs.
Hello there, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing ever in your entire life. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life.He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. John 1:12 says: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you today genuinely by faith, receive Jesus into your life for salvation?
Amen to that brother! I’m in awe of His handiwork every time I go out there, especially this time of year.
Gorgeous 😍 Nature is a gift from God 🎉
Absolutely mystical and majestic organism there friend!
@@crono3339 for sure, friend! We are so very blessed to have this tree on our property to enjoy and utilize its valuable resources.
lol ur funny, keep up the good work friend!!😂👍🏻
@@bobfind9151 thanks for the kind words friend!
If you pull your peppers out of the garden beds, what do you do with them through the winter
@@susanl3136 I grew all of these in Pots, except for the one that was looking a little limp. I moved them in, harvest the peppers up to about 1 December, trim them back about to have their size, and let them go dormant in the pots, close to a south facing window until about late April and I start to begin to set them out during the day. I refresh their soil in mid May and put them out for the summer!
@@8oclocktomatotalk thank you! That is great information. I appreciate you taking the time to explain :)
@@susanl3136 you’re welcome! My pleasure and thank you for the kind comments :-)
Bravo peppers are fall crop
Right?! it’s so cool that we got a late blast of warm weather for these guys.
What a great fall it is for them!
You're killing it
I appreciate that!
Interesting idea. You could use a Tee at the bottom for larger mulch piles and it must help draw some extra air through the heap.
@@evil17 actually, that’s a really good idea! I might modify it after this batch is done cooking :-) thanks for the comment!
You rock!!
@@chmchn thanks!!
Love the Jerry Lewis reference! 😊
So will they grow?
@@lucasrogers9055 for a while longer, till our first hard frost 🙂
Keep singing. Nixe intro from uk
@@paulcoates3860 thank you my friend! I will :-)
Any zone? We in Michigan get snow sometimes in November!
It’s a very general start date for sure! Depending on where you’re at in Michigan, I would guess the prep for next year should be starting as early as the first week of September! Still not too late now, though. I will be working straight up until subzero weather for next spring!
Oh wow can’t wait to watch
@@jodiscola1806 I’m excited! Thanks for tuning in.
not bad for a watermelon farmer!
I did grow two nice watermelons this year, thanks for noticing.
Beautiful!

I know what you mean, brother. This is the pay off for the mundane :-)
Isn't it just 👏🏾 My kind of life I'm here doing my 7-5 day job. Wishing I was at home in my happy place
Very jealous Our brassicas get eaten by caterpillars from the white butterflies. Do you have those where you live?
@@TheMalcolms7 we do. We use BT spray. Should be available for you guys over there, easily available here at any garden centers. It’s a naturally occurring bacteria, that you spray on the cabbage, the worm inadvertently eats it while it’s eating your plant, and it loses its appetite and is dead in a day or two.🙂
I got super excited when I saw your notification pop up on my phone. Good to have you back doing videos Those Beans look amazing. I've never seen them before. Reminds me of the cross between runner beans and no more green peas. Fascinating stuff
@@TheMalcolms7 thanks my friend for the encouragement! It has been almost 4 months: building, prepping soil, making fences, and no time for the channel. I’m glad to be back, so much to chronicle, and be thankful for as I do it :-)
@@8oclocktomatotalk lovely. That's alright. The most important thing is that you look after yourself and be realistic in all things you do. Looking forward to seeing your updates. Much love bro. Have a great weekend
