The ship was originally pictured officially with the 4 things on the back, those were the missile launchers that the one modified freighter from the Thrawn Trilogy had. The more pixilated, 3 deck design was from a group of folks who knew some engineering, and who took the stats from all sources they could find to figure out the "correct" set of stats, and, given that, what the ship should actually be like. At the time, the only images for the Barloz were those of the modified one. The lower deck is mostly just the mechanical bits underneath the cargo area, the upper deck was just the cross section area. Less about being 3 decks than about giving a schematic that rpg folks could use when hunting down that slippery little alien critter through the duct-work! As you say, make of it what you will, you and your game-master can definitely haggle out a final design. Barloz is a good, tough ship, with plenty of room for adventures of all types. Enjoy your games is the main thing! My .02 credits on this.
@RifterBlade thanks for the input, it's always great to hear from those that have more inside than myself. Thanks for watching.
Could have been a decent replacement for the arquitens.
@jerrywalton8140 thanks for watching
Vehicles are too small
@55pepetube thanks for watching
thanks, i was looking to pick up a few of the guards to use as female cobra troopers. probably needs a gear pack though.
I miss these, motifake had so many gems. Want me to send you what I got?
@lordmars2387 thanks for watching
love the vid
@anthonymorris-gendron115 thanks for watching
is this Curtis? 😂
Thanks for the video. Gonna be starting a campaign soon, and it looks like this will the the ship my players wants to use. I've been pronouncing it as writtin; "bar-lawz," but one of my players accidently called it Balrog one time. We found that entertaining and so now thats become the pilot's name for the ship.
@@Lazoraz thanks for watching.
I ran a traveler campaign where the players received a free trader as part of character creation. I had the ship modified. It was faster and better armored than a standard free trader, but it had been poorly maintained and suffered a bit of combat damage. Monthly maintenance costs were higher, sensors rolls suffered a penalty, and I had one of the turrets burn out after a certain number of shots were fired out of it. The players had to put most of their profits from missions into fixing the ship up. They loved the janky nature of the ship and cursed me when I would Suprise them with some expensive component breakdown. The ship really became another character in the campaign. As an alternative to giving experience to the ship, I would suggest more player agency. In a Star Trek campaign, let them pick one item from a list and make an engineering check to get it each time their engineering skill improves. In games where the players don't work for a government agency, have them dump time and money into hot-rodding their favorite ride. I think players really enjoy ship improvements when they are the ones choosing the direction and putting the work in.
@GliderBane i agree, my players love modding ships and get really mad if that ship gets lost. I lost the sheet for the ship, this was years ago but I still hear about it from time to time. Thanks for watching.
Commander M. Scott was traveling on the U.S.S. Jenolen a Sydney Class Federation transport ship, see TNG "Relics" episode. One of my favorites BTW🙂
i though of that much later. Thanks for helping to remind me. We'll miss Franklin, he deserved better.
Nomad killed Scotty and wiped Uhura's memory. He later brought Scotty back to life.
Christopher Lloyd was also bad guy BUTCH CAVENDISH in 1981's "The Legend of the Lone Ranger". Great movie, GREAT performance!!!
Only 2 red shirts survived? Someone is forgetting Janice Rand. 😉
Thanks for reminding me. Thanks for watching.
@@bcwolf100 Happy to help! Good video, btw!
@MJ-kc8iz thank you.
I'll never forget the episode of TNG when ship's computer kept malfunctioning. I kept wondering, can't they just reboot their system? Turns out that's exactly what they did!
Thanks for watching
Lava creature was called a Horta & it was Dwight Schultz that played Barcley and it usually takes a very smart actor to play the idiot on screen constantly
Thanks for watching and thanks for letting me know.
"Away team"? Sorry, it was called a landing party!
Both terms were used.
thanks for watching
@@orlock20 On the original series? I don't remember that!
The last one got me.
Thanks for watching
Thanks I had this as a kid and couldn't remember what it was called. Agreed it wasn't the most graceful plane in the gi joe world. But it made up for it with the insane amount of bombs. I had a lot of fun with it!
Thanks for watching, I'm glad I could bring back good memories.
Yuck! It looks ugly! 😝
There should be an atmospheric speed since the Nova-class canonically has landing gear like the Intrepid class.
@@millenniumf1138 thank you for letting me know, I'll look up what I can to get it. Thanks for watching.
Ok, so when we look at the space speed for the Nova class at a 9 there is a chart that gives us a rough speed of 1,150 km/h. Thanks again for letting me know that we needed this.
@@bcwolf100 No problem! FYI, the landing gear are visible on the MSD on the bridge set.
Nobody wants to see this.
The Pictures In Boxes comic strip is like the ending of that one Family Guy episode where Lois is fat, but Transformers.
2:34 It's like that meme, but for me, the cold Dr.Pepper is just right.
I wish Hasbro would make some more vehicles the size of that UTV, like the mini tanks and random vehicles that were only in a hand full of episodes instead of throwing us ATV's, Motorcycles, or GIANT Haslab vehicles. How big do they think the average person's shelving space is?! XD I don't need a direct 1/1 vehicle scale for the figure. Just enough space for them to fit inside.
The Suzuki Vinson 500 ATV is passable for Classifieds and similar 1:12 scale figs. The more moderately sized ones will look good on it as it's not a large vehicle at all. I got Gnawgahyde on mine and he's on the larger buck they got and it's pushing it but looks fine. I always feel like with vehicles to scale well, 1:10 is probably thr way to go. It has a lot to do with limitations with the figures being plastic and their articulation and that there's no leeway to getting them to sit on a motorcycle or car. But also people are different sizes and shapes and in real life so it looks just as awkward for a basketball player or a bodybuilder guy to cram into a standard vehicle without looking silly.
I'll agree to that. Thanks for watching.
Just right for the Cobra BATs.
😎👍
10:32. A shame he didn't write a book on how to survive falling from a skyscraper.
Star Trek Voyager is what you get when you take a proven fandom (Star Trek), a great premise, and a dynamite cast... and put it all in the hands of people who don't even know that an ensign is supposed to make lieutenant.
About the red shirts, I thought I saw someone doing statistics and finding that the casualty rate on the original series was higher for either blue or gold shirt, because of the smaller sample size compared to the actual deaths
It is possible, i hadn't seen anything on that myself but it could very well be possible. Thanks for watching.
The holographic doctor on Voyerger was Meg Mucklebones in the movie Legend with Tom Cruise and Tim Curry.
at least Picard didn't have to be nerfed up by being half god to be liked.
All those "highlights" of Harry Kim, actually argue FOR him remaining an Ensign lol😆🖖
Thanks for watching.
This would have been so cool!!! Well, 40 years ago when i was 4. Man, i would have laid on the carpet all Saturday morning with my bowl of cereal and PLAAAAAYED with this toy. Feels weird talking about it now though.
On the GI Joe:ARAH comic cover, it's actually Lt. Falcon leading the Joe squad, not Flint and the Joe behind Tunnel Rat is Sneak Peek.
Thank you for correcting me, and thanks for watching.
The last one was a little too relatable
Dominion Attack Ship as opposed to Jem'hadar. Giving this great little craft it's proper name 👍
Calling everything a bird of prey is part of where Star Trek fell short of its original intellect.
there is truth to what you're saying, but the Klingon bird of prey is more of a federation designation for the B'rel, K'Vort and K'pak class. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
I have that set too😍
I played first edition of Xwing Miniatures. This ship had a great mechanic for uncloaking. It made it challenging to play and play against. The first edition of Xwing miniatures was a fun and popular game. I remember a two day tournament at Gen Con that had hundreds of participants. They came out with a second edition of the game and the game started to die out, then a short time later they came out with a third edition and the game just died. It is kind of sad, but I have a lot of fond memories playing the game.
I'm glad you had fun with the game. It was great that they made so may different minis. Thanks for watching.
That's a Tiefling, just so you know.
Thank you, I'm not as up to date on my d&d races. Thanks for watching.
The belive the third class of ship you were thinking of is called the Norway. I never cared for the Akira or Norway designs, but I loved the Sabre class. My favorite small ship in this universe.
I also like the saber class over the other two. Thanks for watching.
Cool video!
The small disc belongs to the Rebel Trooper and are the Death Star plans.
Thanks for letting me know. I forgot about that part of rogue one. Thanks for watching.
Definitely going to look for the car as well. Reminds me of the convertible Flint was driving when he went on vacation.
I'll keep looking for other vehicles that would fit the 6 inch figure line and post them up. Thanks for watching the video.
Nice. I guess I will be going to Tractor Supply real soon. Great video.
Thank you
Very cool figures and an awesome review!
Thank you
Honestly, I randomly came across this video and your channel but Im glad I stayed to watch. Even though I don't know much about lego, I really enjoyed the video. Hope wherever you are, you're having a great day! :)
thank you
The best thing about Corellian vessels is that you can swap oy pieces, parts, engines, and armaments pretty easily.
Got to command one in a rpg one shot. Good little ship!
Hello Of Bricks and Dragons. The spot on the belt where you thought a silencer should go, is where the Removable "Laser sight" on the AK 47 can be stored. Nice video!
@@Iamaghoul thanks for letting me know.
