Generation 1 Farmer Family | Lucid Legacy E2
Hey Mercurial Fam! I'm going to be playing the #lucidlegacychallenge LP here on my channel. We are are starting with Gen 1: Farmer Family. This stream is a little chaotic as I went from having my fam live in a one room home with limited funds, to downloading a whole house and giving them back their money. It's fun, so give it a watch!

    5:40 FYI Franklin Covey also has weekly inserts in various designs - both vertical and horizontal layouts - not just daily.

    • @KayHurricane
      @KayHurricane Рік тому

      The system was not what I needed at the time and didn't work for me at the stage of my life 6 years ago. FC keeps weekly, daily, and monthly separated and I like them all together.

      @calisongbird Рік тому

      @@KayHurricane I was simply correcting something you referenced in the video, that you couldn’t use FC because you needed weeklies and not dailies. I was just pointing out that FC offers many options in weeklies. They have for a long time .🤷🏼‍♀️

      @@calisongbird OK. I was clarifying my statement (although it was six years ago so I don't remember why I said that specifically). FC did not have what I wanted or needed at the time of the video so I used something else.

    Great video! I love that you simply use lined paper. Is it just notebook paper that you hole punched? Do you still use the GTD system?

    • @KayHurricane
      @KayHurricane 3 роки тому

      Thank you! Yes, the lined paper is just notebook paper. I think I may have gotten it from Amazon but I am not sure. I haven't been planning much over the last two years and my lack of focus and productivity shows. But, my goal is to get back to GTD.

    Love the depth of detail here. I also enjoy how you don’t just stick to one plot format during your writing process. Makes me feel better about my own process. I’ve seen the one page plot before but the course is too rich for my blood. Her free guides are pretty useful alone but I do wish she had her genre cheat sheets maybe sold separately.

    • @KayHurricane
      @KayHurricane 7 років тому

      Hi. I have Calendar, Inbox, Actions, Projects, Contacts, Notes/Research. My Menu Plan is in the Calendar section. I put it behind the current week's Day on 1 Page sheets. Projects are for anything that for me takes loner than a week to complete. I use this section to help break down the tasks for each project, but I have a compact size notebook that I use for project planning. Notes and Research are for random lists and information that I must write down. And then contacts which holds number to people with whom I need to interact even if my phone should die. Hope that helps.
