Magic grits! ua-cam.com/video/_T24lHnB7N8/v-deo.htmlsi=No24Ky9Vwm2kZMfQ
That's a fine lookin' meal right there!
Always great seeing a (new to me) video! Love the format of your videos: Informative, concise, fun, and relaxing (great setting). Totally agree on the Wild Planet sardines with lemon. Those are great (even if a little pricier). Same with the Matiz and Belas. But I also respect that Chicken of the Sea is producing good tasting sardines everyone can afford. All good choices. Hope you are enjoying the great fall weather in LA. 🐟
Been warm so far this Fall down here. Waiting on the cold fronts to really push the fish inland. Thanks for watching.
I will keep an eye out for some tins of these. They look great. Thanks for sharing your taste test.
Love that spine action!
Try the Mackeral filets with jals, they are great too!
I always eat the flat salty anchovies. Like putting them on bread with mayonnaise and onion. Course always great on pizza and in a Caesar salad. Keep up the great work, my friend love the videos.
The Brunswick are almost $4.00 a can where I am - IN CANADA!!🤬
Crazy, how can they be cheaper with transportation costs to the south?
@@TimeToEatTheBait It's the taxes.
.59 cents at Aldis in Virginia Beach.
Great review! The Wild Planet White Anchovies were a revelation for me, because I had only had the salted and fermented anchovies (like the ones for pizza). These have a much fresher fish flavor. Quite good. I love tinned fish as well. It's actually quite a bargain given the nutritional value and flavor. And I always enjoy your reviews. Take care and best wishes. 🐟
Thanks for the kind words.
Never had a tin of anchovies? That was a nice catch on fish.
Does your shop stock the EVA with peppermint? That’s a super-duper odd flavor sensation. Still worth experiencing though.
I have heard about this flavor but haven't seen it. Maybe around the holidays I will see it.
I cant eat that stuff without dousing it in hot sauce and baking it or putting it on a pizza, or using some of the oil to flavor some ramen
👌
I always enjoy your videos. A boat on the water is always very relaxing, beautiful scenery, and your reviews are informative. Very best wishes for a good outcome on the pending storm. We had a couple nasty hurricanes go through Georgia about a month ago. Take care and best wishes. 🐟
Thanks. It is now Sunday and looks like just a bunch of rain, Not bad winds. Anywhere I want to live is a Hurricane zone so it doesn't do me any good to consider moving.
Need a lil hot sauce with that oyster
Nice!!
Grew up in South Florida, Cutler Ridge area. In Louisiana now.
always on point with the quality, Can i suggest a video of top 5 canned fish you just cant get enough of thanks again.
I have a box of over 60 tins of Sardines and like products, I won't be able to do a top 5 till I get thru them! LOL! Thanks for the suggestion always looking for input.
@@TimeToEatTheBait like a top 5 of all time not new ones just one you like the the EVA's
Great review! I always enjoy your reviews, informative and relaxing. When I have a can of sardines with high quality olive oil, when the sardines are out, I mix in a little herbs, red pepper flakes, and vinegar into the oil, and it makes an excellent dip for bread. The extra virgin olive oil is so healthy for you, and so tasty, it's a shame to waste. Thanks for another great review. Best wishes. 🐟
Wow thanks for the tip on how to use the oil!
Love your videos! I'd love to see you cooking those specks you catch 😉
I have done several Speck cooking videos in the past and plan on doing more soon. Thanks for watching.
Most of my cooking videos are on my fishing channel, S.RadigFishing.
@TimeToEatTheBait will check it out ty 😊
Sounds good 👍 love sardines
Where did you find these? Thanks!
AtThe Breaux Mart in Belle Chasse, the old Balestra's. There is a large Croation community here so they stock a lot of imports for the community.
They have keto tortillas now... 25 calories per one...they're tiny but effective
I had some new MW Polar Smoked Brisling Sardine in Olive Oil With Plastic Clear Top 4.23 oz from Walmart. Really impressed.
I wish one of my local international markets carried Eva. I like their products, but they can be pricey to get shipped.
There is a big Croation community in this area so the local store has a lot of imported products, just lucky for me I guess.
That boat looked wide enough to pitch a tent on .lol May you catch a ton of fish with it 😊
The sweet sauced Asian tins are better heated up. I like mine over shredded & steamed cabbage.
Good idea, I will try that.
Kippers make a nice low fat change from bacon or ham for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, kippers, whole wheat toast with marmalade , hot tea , I'm in.
You should try the Crown Prince Kipper snacks. They're excellent. Always good.
Thanks will do.
I love kipper snacks, I eat them with club crackers and sometimes I have a few slices of cheddar cheese that I cut from a block. I have tried and liked, several of the brands you have here. As someone who is trying to watch my sodium intake, I chose to stick with the regular Polar (no pepper) because it has almost half as much sodium as the Brunswick. Polar has 100mg and the Brunswick has 320 mg per can. King Oscar has 360 mg. Just thought I'd share that. I haven't checked the other brands you have here. Thanks for your video.
Hey, your fun to watch. Getting some oysters and came across your videos. Are you in LA
Yes in LA. Plaquemines Parish, most of the fishing is in Port Sulphur.
This is one of my regular tins. In the peak of summer I like to make a sandwich on toast with mayo, fresh tomato, onion, lettuce and a can of TJ’s trout.
Sounds good! Will try that myself.
These are absolutely fantastic
These are sourced from Appel, which seems to do a real nice job with all their own canned fish.
Thanks for the info, I do like Appel products. Made in Germany should have tipped me off.
Trout in a can? Thats something i would buy for my dad too
Love the video! cheers fellow can man!
The only concerning thing is the cancer warning label on the polar can. Iv never seen that on any other sardine tin have you?
I will have to start looking.
Good luck fishing sur
Great taste test ! For me it’s King Oscar all the way …!
Interesting, I'm going to be grabbing some Polar and King Oscar to try out, I've always been getting the Brunswick ones not realizing they were such lower quality.
Beach cliff cannery is here in the state of maine not Canada.
Great review! It's tough to beat the Polar herring for quality and value. I eat these all the time and love them. Thanks for the excellent review. 🐟
I am finding that the Polar products are always great quality and value. Thanks for watching.
Expensive at Amazon. $8.50 a can.
WOW! Don't like to pay that much for a tin.
lol a Sardini! Your stomach is stronger than mine
I can get a round can of this from Dollar Tree for $1.25 + tax. Not Goya but still a solid meal.
These tall little cans do seem smaller, but with 5.5 ounce/155 grams, versus 4.4 ounce/125 gram in a typical, traditional flat sardine can, there’s actually slightly more.
Good info, I will check amounts before commenting in the future!
Hello bud wish you had time to do both videos more often.
Sardini - What a Great invention. Makes your dollar go farther.
It was suggested by a subscriber in past videos. I wish I could take the credit.
This looks SO good!
