Does some one know what maybe went wrong, when the shaft is pulling back up or in after fully extendet, after bleeding it?
Great video thx. Should also mention that using naphtha solvent is the easiest way to strip all the old silicone out of the diff and gears
great info thanks
Hey you should try landing pad from Body Armor rc it's a great product just like what you're talking about. I'd love to see a video on how to build the AE 4 shoe clutch and maintain!! Thanks
Lot of diff vids out there but I love the little touches from a legit racer. Learned a lot thank you sir.
Thank you, I appreciate the support, Glad I was able to help you out!
keep the videos coming plezz
🏁Awesome!
🏁Awesome!!
It’s obvious the relative theory of parts hasn’t changed in decades, the lighter the parts are and performance goes up, you sacrifice durability. But I guess I just have to STOPRECKING. Thanks Lee🇺🇸
Lee thank you. Great info and another tidbit of info I can add to my collection of the why and how arsenal. 🇺🇸.
Does this apply to all compounds or just supersoft?
Nevermind should have waited til the end of the video😂
Good tips! Thanks for sharing. First I’ve seen the lexan wing. That would last me about 5 laps before it was destroyed from rollovers 😂😂😂
I have never done the “double bleed” but it makes perfect sense. Great content and keep it up.
Is the Razor considered a "Euro Wing"?
Will be sharing these with our club page. Huge help! Much appreciated
Keep em coming. Appreciate it
Please help me understand why you have to drill holes in the wing? Is it poorly designed? The idea is to give extra downforce right? So drilling holes reduces the downforce so obviously the downforce is not set right on the wing from the factory. Why not make the wings right in the first place?
No, it gives you adjustment. The wing is a huge air dam vs the normal type. An amateur like me, we don't notice much unless, your track has major jumps and it can get windy. We need to worry more about camber toe and ride height. And then roll centers. It's a journey but it's so fun
think about a dirt fence in a construction site, they put flaps and holes in it to control the overall fence movement, it’s all about fine tuning
Great info love this!..Hey i run AE Ebuggy & nitro buggy..quick question Lee is associated going to come out with a C-HUB conversion front end????.Was wondering cause X-ray has C-HUB conversion for sale out over a year now..plz lmk either way Lee and plz keep making more videos i watch every single 1 along with the other AE stuff on youtube !
🆒 video, ℹ️ have 1️⃣1️⃣ brand 🆕 wings, proline jconcepts, JT, & vd pro 🤑👍🏼🪽🏁🏁
Is it as important on loose loamy low traction tracks?
I typically don’t start with glued foam in buggy for loose and loamy tracks… in truggy I always glue the foam no matter what condition especially in a super soft compound. Just because the truck tires are so big and the tire expands a lot.
100% love it❤ THX bro😊
Awesome video, maybe next time have a buggy for visual aid reference? I’m somewhat of a visual learner. But I loved the video not too often I see one about wings. 🔥
Whats up Lee thanks for sharing tips
Got a link to that 5mm thick double sided gel tape?
He mentions it's kyosho brand
Love it, keep em coming
gooodstuff man!
Kyosho Zeal 5mm Vibration Absorption Gyro/Receiver/ESC Mounting Gel (Green) Part number : KYOZ8006B i use this it works amazing 5mm thick
Thanks Lee ❤
Why do you start, and always end up with emulsion? As i was learning i got told by some to use bladder as it was easier to build. I will look at your video and try emulsion again.
Emulsion shocks are a little more forgiving threw bumps and provide a little more grip compared to bladder, I actually think emulsion are really easy to bleed.
bladder shocks are the ones that are harder to get right
I like the way he slowly articulated the shaft 😏 lmao jk is a great video
Thanks daddy ❤
No he's my daddy.
Great content 👌 i noticed you didn't hole punch the tires? Is this something that's not necessary when gluing foam or just a preference?
I just didn’t punch the holes because the purpose of video was gluing the foam not the actual tire. But I always punch holes before gluing the tire to the wheel.
Pleasure meeting you bro! Keep crushing, the RC community will definitely benefit from the knowledge 🫡
This is great, thanks Lee!
Thanks homie. Just started racing at SS and I'm hooked. Great video. Keep em coming!
Thanks for the information Lee. I just walked out of the shop with a pair of tires today. I’m taking your advice and gluing them now.😎
Im gonna be fast now!!! 💨😂
Congrats bro! Just keep in mind the audio gain, I made same mistake on my first few videos. Get the rode wireless pro mics Work great. DJI mics work great too I use both. Figure out ur audio settings on mic and you’re going to have some crazy good content!
