I was using the paid version of hsreplay + referencing my deck tracker. If you don't pay for hsreplay, do not use it because the stats on the free version are extremely warped and misleading. You can use d0nkey as an excellent free site for stats, neon hearthstone & hearthstone topdecks for deck lists. This list has also changed quite a bit since recording which you'll see if you look it up on d0nkey

Ya he's just too slow as he's still usually around 5 mana on t4. Doesn't progress quest either

He's there for cheap quest progression as well as being able to hold onto the 0 cost hero power. If you make the totem hp cost 0, the quest hero power will still cost 0 after you complete the quest. I did think about cutting 1 + shudderblock in order to play faithful companion, but I figured pebbly page was an ok addition. You should try the deck with more card draw if you prefer, the deck is fun af

I've done that before, it's a pretty flexible card. It's also funny if you get reborn which will make it re-summon as a 6/1, not a 1/1

That's fine, I don't mind criticism as this is constructive. I'll admit this was more rushed than my sludge guide & I made a misplay with misfire in that turn range that you mentioned which made me lose a bit of focus, but I wouldn't say I played poorly considering I was able to get back in the game and win.

I'd be interested to hear what you think about the sludge video strictly being evaluated as a guide.

I used to love shellfish when it was newly released. Used to run it in a mill strat alongside Tamsins phylactery in the same way people ended up using naval mine instead. Hilarious to pull off and I agree the body is bodacious. Location is a sleeper card as far as keeping/gaining tempo. I tried rin too for fun but in less aggressive variants 😂

Thank you very much!! My main goal is to help people learn and climb while having fun so I'm glad my thought process is helpful. I used to include more replays (sped up without commentary), but people requested commentary to follow along with. I'm still working to improve my video format/quality so I'll try and include 2nd replays while not making the video too long

@@impermanence_ I was about to comment and say the exact same thing. "Overexplaining"3-4 games and going in depth with the deck first is exactly what many of us are looking for. I'll ride or die for sure if you can rock that formula. Keep it up. (Oh yeah, don't forget mobile friendly deck codes in the description ;) )

@@impermanence_ the most common way is to post the link to the deck in hsreplay, but some streamers post their decks to hearthpwn, especially if it's homebrewed, slightly tweaked, etc. Also, you might consider coaching for an hour here and there and record the session. Easy content, extra money for the coaching, and it gives us an inner look to thought processes in the moment. KrisOFive is a good example account to check out if you might be interested in that.

I've thought about eventually posting that as well, so I'm glad that the interest is out there. I've actually had a session with Kris in the past lol. Helped me improve my game despite already being legend. Really great coach and guy

You mean the druid spell that they played? That's actually a new unique druid mechanic. They have a couple cards that get upgraded effects if they sit in your hand for 3 turns. The card they played starts as "1 mana summon 2 1/1s", but after 3 turns in your hand, it becomes "1 mana summons 2 2/2s". They have a draw spell with a similar effect too. But yeah there has def been some power creep
