Here are some I can do off the top of my head: Strength of AI: 8 Level of Difficulty Sport (I don't like the highest setting, it makes repairs unrealistically frequent). For each car I drive I generally do the same thing: Tire Pressure: 26.5 I increase gearing to a closer ratio if it's a "curvy" track otherwise leave it stock. Don't usually mess with spoiler settings. I set the rear end to 100% acceleration and <10% de-celaration. I set the anti-roll bars, springs and damping toward stiffer side and ride height to lowest. I set brake pressure to 80%. I also set the force feedback to 150% (I like road feel). On dry conditions I always use soft tires. If it's multiclass I setup Proto-type H, GT3 and P3 or P2 against the car I drive. These are just my personal preference, and I am by no means a skilled player. Hope this helps. Oh, I also like the race to start around 6:30P or 7:15P, as I like the colors at dusk...If it's a race <6 laps I will generally require a pit stop. This is useful for when I do "Multi-view" videos cause I like the way the cars look entering and exiting the pits...

If you mean what hardware, I only use an X-box Series "S" with Logitech 920 pedals and wheel...nothing fancy at all...If you mean how do I set up the car / race, I do the following: Car: - no traction control - no ABS - No assisted steering - force feedback 150% - Brake pressure: 80% - Suspension all set to 80% stiff - No differential braking - Accelleration set to 75% All other settings ( believe) are default. Track: - Difficulty set to Level 8 and Expert Hope that is what you were asking for.

@@Alucard2077 On XBOX "S" it is not laggy. There are still issues such as cars "jerking" into the car stalls during replays (I try and edit that out), not getting single car make (i.e., one car say a supercar in multiclass against GTD/P1/P2 - even if you select min/max = 1 car, it will divide the total cars and give you say 6 super cars). There are other things like lack of detail in some reverse shots during game/replay, but I think it's a lot better (on Xbox) than the beginning. I think it's getting much better shadow/sun, car detail, and "feel". I play at level 7 or 8 AI, 140% feedback and no assists...Your results may vary...but though it's still not a AAA game day release, it's definitely better in my opinion. Would I pay $99 again for day one release? No.

You set up expert rules, no assists, level 8 AI ( max) and you more than likely have to pit if more than 5 or 6 laps...tell tale sign is misfiring and loss of speed...during pits top it will say you can repair to say 91% on THAT stop. I usually set up for min 1 mandatory pit stop cause I know I'm coming in so make everyone (AI) come in...

Thanks...I don't care against AI but usually try not to wreck them. If you listen closely you can hear my engine start to misfiring and that was from lap 1 throughout...It was funny watching that hypercar rocket up to me and then just give up... :)

damage models largely stopped evolving in about 2005. presumably mostly because companies not wanting their cars damaged in games, but not even games with fictional cars do a good job aside from the few outliers. notably beamng, wreckfest and thats about it. the rest are all still in about 2005.

Ok there's actually a legal reason why Forza, or any other modern racing game doesn't have realistic damage. It's because the companies don't want their cars shown wrecked. This isn't just a Forza Issue. It's been a thing for a WHILE now. Not sure why Forza is just now taking the flak for it 😂

@test-tl8dt and the only games to use real Companies and have decent crash physics now are the F1 games (before 23') and nascar heat which these games do make sense cause who would get an f1 or stock car onto the street. Racing games that are using stuff like dirt trackers. Stock cars. Derby wreckers. And F1/F2/F3 cars can have a better damage model then cars that are the GT series of racing cars cause of the same principle that you mentioned. companies dont want their cars seen wrecked cause of it ruining their reptutation. But they are fine with their affiliated stock cars and F1 cars being demolished cause of what i reasoned earlier. so your right about this topic

​​@@mt.sinai_You're also not the one behind developing the game. So how how about you go ahead and make a racing game with licensed vehicles and then put realistic damage and see how it goes. Hell, GranTurismo never had realistic damage. But now it's an issue?? Unless you want to face a ton of lawsuits from car companies, it's best to keep the damage generic and minimal. Again, GranTurismo has been doin that the whole time.

@@toxicgracie3772 so all the sims that do feature more realistic damage, and have contracts with these manufacturers...what's that, then? iRacing (most realistic sim that exists) has been around for 18 years without ever being sued by the manufacturers they have contracts with...has realistic damage.
