The vlog that I almost trashed... I had to sit in my feelings and do some self-reflecting before posting this video. I’ve been to Turks numerous of times and I always have a great time. Despite the unfortunate events that occurred while there and after, it is still my favorite destination and “second home”. Hope you guys enjoy the video and find some of the tips useful.
If you’re new here, my name is Tae and I’m a family nurse practitioner. When I’m not saving lives, I’m saving own soul by indulging in what I love… TRAVELING! In today’s video, I’m taking you with me to Providenciales Turks & Caicos! I’ll be sharing some of my favorite restaurants, lounges and things I like to do while on the island. Turks is a very expensive island to visit, however I’m sharing a few tips to cut costs. In this video I have my best friend and cousin with me so I was truly living in the moment and vlogging less. We ate GOOD, explored the island and even had a little “girl talk” about some things we’ve experienced while traveling on the island. Some events I didn’t vlog but talk about them in the video.
Below, I’m listing restaurants and lounges visited, as well as some excursions I’ve done on this trip and in past visits that I have enjoyed.
Restaurants visited:
•Da Conch Shack- Fire dancer, live dj and Junkanoo band on Wednesday night (must make a reservation on Wednesdays)
•Mr.Groupers
•BLT restaurant at the Ritz Carlton (not shown in video)
•LaBrisas- Has the BEST oxtails! The view from the restaurant is amazing
•Mango Reef- Have the best drinks! Food is just okay
•Omar’s Beach Hut- my overall favorite restaurant
•TurkBerry Frozen Yogurt
•Somewhere Cafe
•Infinity Restaurant- I did not visit them on this trip but their steak and lobster is A1

Island Fish Fry- Every Thursday in the parking lot next to Mr.Groupers. They have live entertainment, Junkanoo band along with food and souvenir vendors.
Noah’s Ark- Sunday is the most popular day to visit. Tip: Bring your own alcohol and float if possible (sections and drinks are expensive!)
