If you seek divorce on grounds other than that, you risk putting yourself in a position where, biblically, remarriage could be considered adultery. We should focus on reconciliation, forgiveness, and healing within the marriage, as these are the paths that scripture encourages. Is it worth the risk to extend it's meaning? Jesus wasn't talking about divorce when he was talking about lusting in your heart. He was speaking to where adultery begins and how the very thought makes you guilty in God's sight. Yet no one back then would stone anyone on those grounds, nor would someone who hates someone else suffer as a murderer in the Old Testament covenant. There is a difference. Don't be deceived. God hates divorce, and you want to hate what God hates. If you love what God hates, what does that make you to God?

The real motive here (even if this street preacher doesn’t realize it) for this “moralizing” against abortion is that christianity & other religious institutions is to ensure a continuous supply of ignorant and miserable humans to feed the coffers of various institutions. These religious institutions know for a fact that eventually every person dies. With their death goes that person’s financial support because they’re no longer around to give to one church, one religion or another. So that’s religion’s morality… insuring a constant supply of weak minded & ignorant people to keep their “business” operating. Misery & suffering is ubiquitous and it often works in favor of mysticism & the supernaturalism. Babies represent nothing more than future converts to one form of nonsense or another. Just look at your cable listing and survey all the programs about ghost hunting & other forms of supernaturalism. Believing that stuff is nothing more than a form of escapism from the natural world that surrounds us. It’s cowardly ultimately because there isn’t one bit of evidence sufficiently convincing to demonstrate any such beliefs are based in the physical universe.

I am so happy to find this video! We have rented a house on Flat creek for Dec 28 to Jan 4. We do not have a boat. There is a dock and a wide yard. I have grandkids (16-18) and a disabled husband. We have always fished! but now with my husband's disability it is very limited. We used to love to troll lake lanier. Our rental house is at the end of Dorsey Drive, in a small cove near the upper end of Flat Creek. Would you have any recommendations for us, fishing from the bank and the dock at this time of year? We do have some larger (salt water) gear and lots of fresh water gear. Any recommendations you can give is very much appreciated. Line, rig, lures, retrieval. And yes! Jesus is Lord!
