I just watched her,"Unsung"... end it unlocked a childhood memory of this song!! my parents used to play the hell out of this record!!! She was incredible in her day!!! Praying for Ms. Bofill; for those who don't know she's suffered two strokes, but she's still in very good spirits!

In 1977 Jo Alice wrote and recorded the ballad ‘Searching’ with her band Sail Joia. Forty years later Erik Visser, Jo’s ex-husband and sound engineer, has created a remake of the song, with a stunning fresh twist. This new version combines elements of new and old; relaunched as an uplifting dance mix, yet calling in the solo talents of cellist Ernst Reijseger, a frequent Sail Joia collaborator during many of their live performances way back in the 70’s. Amazing, I saw them in Basel, Switzerland at the famous «Atlantis» when I was a Teenager in the 70ties and they blew me away. They played for a week and I was there every night. Wonderful memories :-)!

I used to creative dance to this when I was in my early 20's and have recently resolved to take ethnic/jazz dance classes soon, so this song is def in my dance playlist!
