Alright, I have a little funny story about Sonic the Hedgehog. When i was young, uh... Every kid that did not own a Nintendo console growing up, they were always, like, eating glue or, like, uh, you know, putting bugs in their eye sockets. It was weird, and they had great consoles, like they had the Playstation and they had the, uh, the Watchamacallit, the, uh, the Genesis and all that. And the first time I saw a Genesis was at a... At a.. _This_ friend that we went over to his house, and he's like "You gotta check this game out, man, it's crazy! It super fast!" and it was Sonic the Hedgehog on the Genesis. Now, the problem is this kid was, uh, weird. He was 7 years old. And, like, still had diapers in his room. And i'm just like, "What?" "WAT?". Alright, if that's not strange enough. Somehow... Because I was so glued to the TV playing this, I forgot, like, how weird it was. The diapers in his room! **wheeze** I think he might've had some problem. I don't think it was like, just... Skibidi toilet trained(GODAMNIT JOEL!!! SKIBIBI TOILET REFERENCING AGAIN, JOEL?!). Yeah, toilet trained like a cat. No, uh.. The weird thing about it, he convinced me while i was playing, "We should trade Pokemon cards.", "Yeah, we should trade Pokemon cards." and im like, "Alright, I haven't done that in a couple years.", "Sure, sure. Sure thing, man.". And uh, and im like, anything to play this game more. Like, i tried to get on his good side. Because, like, I couldn't afford fuскin' multiple consoles. Like, my parents bought me a... a- a NE- NES. And, that- that was it. But, uh... This kid. You know what he- you know what his demand was? Nothing. He wanted nothing in return. You know what he wanted? He wanted to give me all of his Pokemon cards. And, it wasn't the Pokemon cards you're thinking about. Some of you might have never seen theese. But they- they look really weird. They were like stills from the cartoon show. And he had a lot of theese. He had all of these strange looking Pokemon cards. And I got all of them. And there were like, I swear to god, 200. It was a huge stack of them. I got them. And he's like, "Yeah, I don't want 'em anymore.". The next day, my mother is so рissеd at me. She' s like "JOOOOOEEEL!!", I'm like, "WHAT?!", and she goes, "Did you steal his Pokemon cards?" and im like, "No, what are you talking about?" and this kid is in the hallway in my house, crying, holding his mother's hand, going, "This kid stole my Pokemon cards!" And im just like, "What are you talking about?", "You gave me them, you f***in' idiot!". He's like, "He stole 'em!" and then i noticed, okay... This kid is not only sh¡tting in diapers. But he's also a sосiораthiс... Сrimеlоrd! It _blew_ my mind! Like, "Why are you doing this?" and my mother was рissеd at me! She was righteously рissеd. She thought I stole all these cards. Im just like, "No, I didn't!" "This kid literally _gave me_ these cards!", she's just like- she's like, "Joel! Joel! You stole them! And you're saying they gave it to you!" and it's like, "No, he genuinely gave it to me! What are you talking about?" Ah... So i gave them back. And im just like, I looked him in the eye, I gave him the look, like, "You're evil. You're evil, you little sh¡t. You're like Porky Minch from Earthbound, you little sh¡t!". He took the cards, and i swear to god, he does this thing where he stops crying and goes, "Thaaaaanks!" and slams the door. And then- and then i, istg, this whole experience is like a- I- i met this, like crazy, multi-personality, аsshоlе kid. Andc ever since I play Genesis. Or Sonic the Hedgehog, I always see that kid in my head. Like, that little, diaper-sh¡tting, Sonic the Hedgehog Pokemon lying fuск-face! I HATE HIM! GODDAMNIT!
