We need a legitimate record. Your chest or solar plexus needs to touch the ground, period, to fully close the shoulder blades and you need to go all the way back up. It's ridiculous and insulting to anyone who does true pushups that this is presented as any sort of record.

Bro… 🤦‍♂️ … I’m not trying to be a hater… but these aren’t respectable push ups where I come from lmao… I see these people in so many comps throwing up berserk numbers and I’m always checking out footage hoping to be dazzled and always leave thinking “ah that’s why.” Dude I can do 1100 in one hour. Damned proud of that. That’s down a half inch to ground and full up. I’m sure tons can do respectable push ups far past that but this is just dumb.

push up like this are bunk to a record, it is a total movement from up and down x the reps; otherwise it cannot show the work done. They would have two push a contact below at ground and a return of ht to again set off a pressure sensor for ONE rep, That distance is the cycle, Not 4" not 15 " but some specific unit that all must do in that weight class. AND INCLINE EVEN CAN MATTER.

Those aren't competitive push ups. Arms must lock out at the tops. We use a belt around the chest with the buckle in the center of the chest. You have to hear the buckle hit the floor for the push up to count!

Hell I do 100 real pushups 4 time a week and I'm 63.

I do not, in any way, mean to disparage the man. I credit him for all of his effort. But if anyone believes that he was actually doing 'full pushups' you are sorely mistaken. He's doing 1/2 pushups at best. He's going for speed rather than for quality.
