And it's always so sweet when your boys help out (1:50, 6:38). And congratulations to your son on his award (8:30)! He's exactly right: race doesn't matter, but pride in one's culture is a good thing (11:10). It's important to inform people of the wrongs that were done in the past so that we do not repeat the same mistakes in the future, but we must recognize that the people of the present are not responsible, and still be friends anyway and work together for real peace. I hope he holds onto that wisdom as he grows older ♥

It's a big cultural difference. In the U.S., kids only get about 20 minutes for lunch, and school-provided lunches are not very good food. Bland, boring, and low on nutritional value. It's best to pack your child's lunch, but many can't afford it and so their children eat the school lunches. I think in all other countries but the U.S., kids get a long, leisurely lunch, as they well should, because it's also time to learn socialization skills, and also learn to appreciate nutritious and pleasurable food. You make a lovely lunch for your children. Well done, mama!

I think I missed it, are those pork or beef spare ribs? They look so good! I am American, but I love Japanese food and bento, and sometimes the cuts of meat and ingredients are hard to find here, your videos give me great ideas to try with ingredients easier to find in America.
