The Focus Point started back on September 11, 2016, but at that time it was a blog called “Breathe” (and later called Second Stage Ministries. The reason why I started the blog back then was because God was teaching me a lot of things over the course of the summer of 2016 and I needed a place for it all to go. I currently teach 4th and 5th graders at my local church and I was at that time as well. But as I was studying and preparing lessons for them, I was also - because of the season of life I was in - learning at an adult level with adult situations that would not be appropriate to share with a group of 10-year-olds. So because I could not tell the students everything God was telling me I created the blog so my head did not explode. So the blog became an overflow of what God was teaching and showing me. The videos and a podcast came too. I thank you for joining me on this journey. I hope that the content you find through this ministry will help keep your focus point JESUS!
