I do like the idea of running Lurrus as a companion and having a very low and efficient curve. On the tapped duals, I think they are a necessary evil on Arena as we don't have as many untapped duals as on Paper and the deck can be very colour intensive with all the low drops ;-;

When you click play there are 3 options: Events, Find Match and Recently Played. On Find Match, you will find the option to play Brawl (it's the one on the right). There you can choose to play Standard Brawl (60 cards) or regular Brawl (100 cards)

Recent magic design is all about must-kill threats so being on the draw, stumbling, or facing the perfect curve is just game over even if the game takes another 4-5 turns to end. Still love Brawl, but it can very tilting as you saw 😓

Awesome deck!! Saw it on twitter and had to try! Play 2 of each probably the best, 4 is overkill and also a drain on our precious wildcards hehe. True about Leyline! I was only thinking of the combo, but yeah a 30/30 Colossus is tough to beat. You genuinely BROKE the format

​@@dedzed9178 Leyline of the Sanctity beats it if the 1 extra turn is all they needed (Belcher and Tasha's hideous laughter on the play, mirror on the draw). However, instead of the desert ping lands, you can play the 40 gain lands like Blossoming sands (+Radiant fountains) to gain enough life so that the opponents' deserts and Charbelchers don't immediatelly kill you + 14 gates with a 2 Maze's end to win in your next upkeep. Charbelcher on the play can still get you if they play 70+ cards but they want to maximize their chances of Leyline in their opening hand so I haven't seen anybody do that yet. You could also play both the ping and the gain lands so that you don't lose the possibility of T1 wins (discounting scoops from opponents that are either bored or didn't notice you're not pinging them) but I haven't noticed any decks that would punish winning on T2's upkeep (not even the Tasha's hideous laughter that specifically targets this) so I think it's not worth decreasing your chances for Khalni garden in your opening hand.

I think the deck is fine to play as is, but I'd probably try Dafore's UW deck instead as he has been putting a lot of good numbers with it!

If you are referring to Faithless Looting, it wouldn't work in this deck as it's card disadvantage if you are not using your graveyard which we are not :(

If we had more 1 mana burn spells that are good, there could be a deck with both of those cards. As of right now, we would just be overloaded on 2s and too slow on the current meta unfortunately :/

mirror box is not that useful in HB since this is singleton.

there were some cards that copy permanents so you could have extra copies of the stronger shrines. Unsure if it's a build that would work, but hey never say never!

I've faced it now and it is a very good card. I think the only issue in this specific deck is how it interacts with Oath of Druids since it will be a creature in my deck!

There are a lot of ways to build/play Wrenn and my way probably isn't the ideal one. The commander itself is very powerful so it's hard to go wrong with him!

It's my new favourite deck, loads of fun every game :D

I, unfortunately, gave up on the deck. It's a fun deck for sure, but it's very much on the lower end of the power scale. Even when queued against other low powered decks it seems to struggle. If you like tribal or grixis decks it's defo worth playing around with it, you'll probably have more success than I did! Just be careful not to waste a bunch of wildcards on cards that won't fit in many other places!

It dodges literal EVERYTHING. Targetted removal, sacrifice effects, wraths, counterspells. And we are stuck with it in the format for the foreseeable future, sadge

hopefully they make an always-available format soon!

I've definitely undervalued just tapping in the past, specially in aggro decks, so I could see that being true. I'm still super in the fence about Learn though. Adding "discard a card and draw a card" to a bad-to-medium card doesn't seem like enough reason to play it, but I'm looking forward to being wrong about this! Thank you for your insight <3

@@dedzed9178 great content regardless. I’ve been playing a bunch of narset today and it’s been mostly unstoppable. The control mirrors can be really grindy; has one mirror match game today that lasted for over an hour.

@@AnimalStrings The control mirrors are the most fun, because of the intensity and decision making, but so tiring. Playing one match for over an hour sounds so exhausting

@@dedzed9178 yup! Lost when ECD trigger to bring my Ugin back was countered; I dug for a counter using omen and fire prophecy but forgot to sac the omen to scry before drawing off of prophecy. Turns out cancel was the card under the one that I drew, and I would have been able to wipe their board while keeping my dream trawler. Not positive I would have won from there but missing that is why I lost. My brain was definitely tired but I also just didn’t think it through completely. Love the play style of this deck, any others that you particularly like in this format?
