Geocaching and travel are my two big passions. Come along with me as we explore some awesome geocaches, and the journey it takes to get to them.
WALKING NANAIMO'S BEACHES | Geocaching On Vancouver Island | Bomb Cyclone Aftermath
Nanaimo has a great deal of ocean views. Beach access galore! In this episode, I venture along the shoreline in search of some of the oceanside caches. Some successful, some not so much! All part of the game of geocaching. You will also see debris from the bomb cyclone that hit Vancouver Island hard in mid November. Mother Nature is a force to be reckoned with!
That and more in this week's episode. Enjoy.

Super stoked to bring this episode to you! On my second full day in Nova Scotia, I head up the coast from Halifax to explore a hidden gem of a beach. MAJESTIC MOROCCO: EPISODE 3 | THE MARKETS OF MARRAKESH | Finding a Geocache in a Restaurant
Переглядів 779Місяць тому
The third and final episode of my Majestic Morocco series. The markets of Marrakesh are busy places. Alleyways festooned with colour, and plenty of action. Motorcyclists meandering through the narrow passage ways while tourists, and locals alike browse in search of that special treasure. My dad, Ian, and I had a great time exploring these markets, and I even found two geocaches! A virtual geoca...
MAJESTIC MOROCCO: EPISODE 2 | A CAMEL RIDE IN THE SAHARA!
Переглядів 523Місяць тому
Episode number two of my mini Morroco series! In the south east of Morocco is the beginning of the vast Sahara Desert. I, along with my dad and our tour group, go on a camel ride into this massively sandy area of North Africa. It was a beautiful experience. My dad was in front of my camel, and I made sure to get his commentary in. The audio wasn't great for him, so I put subtitles on his commen...
MAJESTIC MOROCCO: EPISODE 1 CHEFCHOUEN | The Blue City | My First Geocache Find in Africa!
Переглядів 459Місяць тому
Situated in the Riff Mountains in the north of Morocco, is the rustic town of Chefchouen. This place is known for its blue buildings. The blue theme has to do with the holy nature of the colour in this part of the country. It is quite the beautiful colour under the shadow of the nearby mountains. You will also see me find my first geocache in Africa, and my first find outside North America! Tha...

FRASER VALLEY CACHE BASH! | The Mad Rush for "First to Find" | Big Valley Scenery
Thanks for the shout out! The hide you gave me credit for goes to geo-tic86 who placed some great ones in the area. You did feature a couple of mine though. I was amazed to see how badly the stairs were damaged by the tree! You definitely had an adventurous day with the high tides!
With those when you put so much effort in and not knowing if your hard work will pay off are the most difficult. My DNFs haunt me. lol A DNF that I struggled with can be seen in my video day 335, it was my third attempt and I had backup with me, info from the CO and we were there over an hour looking. (: At least with the tide being up you know you can get back out cause hopefully it can only get lower. Those waves though. (:
I always take my GPS along with my phone when getting coordinates.
Looking forward to seeing the cache containers you come up with!
So it’s not a magic mushroom? Darn
@RandiPoitras Yeah, no additional magical adventure for me.
"There's a STRIP mall here..." As you walk passed half dressed mannequins. Those barracks are pretty cool looking.
You are placing a cache in a train station? 😂Great video. I like the longer content.
@@valleygirlknits I left my virtual credit there! It got published.
Oh cool. A new cache to get when I'm in Halifax next year? Thanks for the tour.
Lots of history 😊
Will probably be in Halifax next June for the Maritime Mega in nearby Bridgewater. Will you be there?
@@catherinewoods3132 There's a good chance I will be in Bridgewater next year!
Listen to you haggle! God job! Whenever I see these markets, I can't help but think of Indian Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark. :P I really enjoyed that cache you found in the restaurant (meeting hall??). Really nice!
@@Komikino The cache was in a restaurant in a neat little courtyard.
@@GeocachingKeats94 That was down right cool!
Cool rock
Damn this is beautiful man. Wish I was here.
It's Lawrence Keats of Arabia!!! Thanks for the cool camel ride video! Looks like it was fun.
It was awesome!
Great videos Keats! What a trip! I seriously thought Ian was going to fall off the camel!
Yeah maybe once I would be looking for a dune buggy for trip back lol
I'd say you did rather well with the riding. Thanks for sharing.
An amazing experience for you and your dad! Just felt bad for your dad. And then you were almost left behind. Thanks for sharing! 🐪
Wellcome in morocco ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Comment for the algorithm 😂
LOL! Your dad is a character! Kitties!!!! I would've pet them all day long. :) Love the blue!! Congrats on your first cache outside North America. This was a fun travel video!
Cats are like squirrels in Morocco. Chefchouen was an absolute highlight of the trip, and I definitely would want to go back. Thanks for watching!
Well done! Your geocache crowning achievement, Keats!
Morocco!!! That is so awesome! Many years ago now I had the chance to make a day trip to Tangier, taking the ferry from Spain. What an amazing place. Good for you for going! And your dad is such a ham!
That is great blue. So many cats! How was lunch? Glad you found the cache!
@@catherinewoods3132 lunch was great! Classic Moroccan culinary excellence!
A great video! What a beautiful place. I'm so happy that the geocache wasn't missing. :)
Cool adventure 😎
Loved that restaurant and those blue houses looked amazing. Would love to make it there one day, Thanks, enjoyed the look around.
Wow, that was a crazy storms. You never know, these storms can roll in quickly in the mountains. Glad you're safe!
I'm happy that we were able to make it back to camp safely.
Love that you added you playing the fiddle. My Irish roots are tingling.
I hope you didn't get sick after that hike.
I don't think it was directly attributed to the hike, but I did get a weird scratchy throat a couple days after the hike. Who knows?
OK... that was no fun to watch! I mean, there was nice views and drone shots but I was expecting this to turn into a "lost footage" video or a "Kyle Hates Hiking" (check out his channel) video. Glad you were safe but DANG! :O
That tent was too close to the lake shore, 150 feet is the minimum.
That tired me out just watching lol
I'm sure you left a trip plan with friends. Right? Well, my mothery instincts came out while I was watching this. But I'll keep those comments to myself.
RETREAT!!! RETREAT!!!
@catherinewoods3132 Many people knew where we were. Thankfully I had a Garmin in reach with me to send out an SOS if needed.
Holy cow! That was an intense episode! So glad you made it back safe!
Great walks in nature Keats94. Thank you. Be safe.
Such stunning views! You’ve really captured the essence of these landscapes. Incredible videos! sub & 👍10
Awesome shots and the music was nice too!
That's a good way to cool your head off!
That's not trash it's a geocache lol seen pop cans like that
The colours in the lake are so magical. Perfect for before bed time watching.
Go leafs go 😊
My neck of the world. Thanks for visiting. :D
Cool stump. Very unique. I would be hoping the cache wasn't in the smaller pipe. :) Two DNFs...bummer. Beautiful area after the pipe disaster. Congrats on finding the multicache. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Hahahahaha geocaching.....
did the rain ever come? Was that snow you walked by on Blackcomb? Thanks for the tour.
It was a clear day all day. I guess they were expecting dry lightning. Yeah, that was snow! Quite the layers.
Some really cool locations you found there. In my younger days I would’ve had no problem exploring culverts and tunnels like that. But I’m more apprehensive now. That multi in the tree is an inspiring hide.
