Peak Adventure's "Everest of the sea" Bass Strait crossing by ocean ski 2014. Day 1 from Port Albert to Refuge Cove, then Days 2 and 3 at Refuge Cove waiting for a front with rain squalls and strong westerly winds to pass. Seven paddlers and support crew aboard the Nooramunga.

Paddling off Torquay, I see a pod of dolphins and paddle over to them. The dolphins show an interest in me and swim alongside, going under the kayak and across the bow.

Perfect Bass Strait conditions for a sea kayak around Wybalenna Island off the west coast of Finders Island. As part of a Roaring 40s Kayaking adventure, we take a flooding tide through a passage between granite boulders.
