agreed, it takes up too much time but it is a delicate balance. I have tried other games that I've gotten bored with because they haven't had enough to do daily. I know I played Eternal Evolution and I could get they entire days mission done in a matter of minutes then nothing else, lost interest within a month.

@@Jon_Bowl I feel like the less time a game takes to maintain daily the more time you have to do other things including playing and juggling other games. And the current market is saturated with games that are phenomenal experiences for our day and age even in the very looked down upon gacha mobile market.

@@Jon_Bowl And actually, here is where it gets really interesting - if we get to the point where you can 1 key top chest everything up to Nightmare, you have only a slightly lower chance of getting a void than you do from a single UNM chest (about 14.45% chance vs 18.22%), but you'd have a chance of getting up to 8 of them instead of at most 1...very interesting...

By the same logic, aren't epic book drops rates hardly any different as well? I think the bigger upside to this method would be you get 6 chests per day. Here's why I mentioned it in clan and my logic behind it. Please feel free to disprove it, if I'm wrong I want to know as well. These are all just shower thoughts that I started digging into out of curiosity lol Void Shards 6 x Guardian Chests (top H, 2nd B, 1st NM) = 6 drops of 1.86% = 11.16% chance per day 2 x Ultimate Chest (top NM) = 2 drops of 3.05% = 6.1% chance per day Epic Book 6 x Guardian Chests (top H, 2nd B, 1st NM) = 6 drops of 1.87% = 11.22% chance per day 2 x Ultimate Chest (top NM) = 2 drops of 9.48% = 18.96% chance per day Until you're getting top NM chest AND at least 1 Guardian chest, I think it may still be better to go for the 6 Guardian chests? I do agree, you would be shorting yourself at some better gear drops and also potentially some gems/brews, but I haven't done the math on those. My gut reaction is that everything would be better overall except gear. Multi-drop potential for everything probably outweighs the lower quantity per drop, but gear will never be 5 star epic or higher And I also agree, if ayumilove's tables are wrong, we're both out in left field lol

@@Bahbbie I think the entire conversation changes once you can start 1 keying NM, but I don't think any of us are that far along yet? I know I'm not. I can currently get the 6 guardian chests by 1 keying H, 1 keying B, 2 keying NM. Even if I could 4 key NM top chest, I don't think that would be the best route

@@colorblindaccountant Ahh, good point, I was running off of memory, and I thought epic book rates increased - they don't, they also drop insignificantly. And yeah, more chests give a wider range of possible outcomes. Your overall likelihood of getting a void shard/epic book is about the same, but you have a chance of getting several when you are collecting several chests. Also worth considering, ancient shard drop rates continue to go up, and you will likely want to have a good stockpile of those for gathering rare/epic/legendary fusion champs like we have going on now. In terms of your numbers, your calculations aren't quite right - the chance to get at least 1 void shard is 10.65% from the 6 guardian chests. You calculate it as follows: 1.86% chance/chest is equivalent to 98.14% chance of not getting a void. So you chance of not getting a void is (98.14%)^6 = 89.35%, and so your chance of getting at least 1 is 10.65%. But when all is said and done, I don't think you will see a massive difference no matter what you choose to do. Maximizing guardian chests until you can make progress on NM/UNM will optimize your chances, but by a pretty insignificant amount :)

@@nlocniLmaharbA whoops I misread that.... umm I should probably time myself actively playing a couple hours or so a day, I'd safely say 2.5+. But I nearly always have the account farming (using multibattles) in the background either on my computer or iPad.
