One of our favourite Hard Core bands 'Hazmat' spent a half day filming a clip for their next single from the album recorded with us back in 2019. Marshall Cullen ran playback and Olivia Ross-Adams assisted plus helped out with some camera work for the guys.

Homebrewed radio session recording Winterbourne Live in the studio for their Coast FM 96.3 radio show

Inspired during a background vocal harmony session young Central Coast Artist Jessie May Kitchen wrote a new song and needed to quickly record it. Our multi talented engineer Murray Dilger grabbed an acoustic, threw up a classic Shure SM7 and a click track and away they went

With new lead guitarist Tom Moyle now firmly established in the band’s new lineup the boys came in to record his signature guitar on a bunch of tracks with the seasoned guitar sound knowledge of Andrew Beck. Main amps used were the Marshall JMP/Quad and the Fender Bassman. Acoustics including the Gibson J45 were laid down as well.

With Slide’s album ‘Blood Red River’ (all recorded at DG’s) coming out back in May and the CD stock just arriving it was time to put on a show. A small selection of fans, friends and family were invited to the studio on a Saturday night to witness the album performed and filmed live.

This is a piece we shot during the lockdown to highlight one version of our drum mic up using the Ludwig 1962 kit.We also open up the extensive mic locker and go through a selection of Akg, Neumann and Telefunken mics.
